I don't actually know too much about it. I bought it from Sonic Electronix and Jay installed it. I can start my vehicle on either of my two batteries or both connected now. Combined with LED lights, it's a great mod for camping!

Well, I haven't done much to my van recently because I'm saving to buy an apartment. I do have a few projects I'm hoping to complete in the near future though. Today I sprayed silicone lubricant on my hitch balls and put tennis balls over them (I've been rear ended twice in the past week). I also had my u-joint all replaced, oil change, tire rotation, inflated the tires and changed the fuel filter. I'm getting some vibration when driving still, but Butch thinks it's just my front tire since I rotated them and the front wheel looks to be out of alignment. I'll get the alignment sorted when I get new tires.

What I plan to do, hopefully in the near future:

- fix wiring problems
- clean the van
- replace shocks
- dual piston calliper upgrade
- new tires and alignment
- fill dents with bondo
- rhino line entire van
- paint upper portion of van red
- custom front bumper
- custom snorkel
- remove plastic trim
- red plastidip all exterior plastic components
- leather heated seats

I'd like to see the rhino liner. That would look sweet.

I initially decided I wanted to simply paint it because I didn't like the look of a fully rhino lined van (all black). Since the cost of that is so high and because it's a lot easier to get a presentable finish while painting over rhino liner, I think I will paint to top half red over the liner and the bottom and roof will remain black.

Ever thought of doing a vinyl car wrap? I just did mine. So far so good. Just needs a bit of time, patients and a friend to hold the other edge. Pretty cheap if you do it yourself. Probably $240 for the whole car + time.

I have, if I change my mind about colour in the future, or it gets scratched, etc, it's harder to switch to something new. Also, if there's any dirt under it or you accidentally get a bubble, you have to start over. Initial cost for painting might be more, but doing the rhino lining yourself would cost no more than $200, then whatever paint costs and it's not overly time consuming. Did you continue your vinyl wrap to the interior where the metal goes around the door, or did you just cut it off and leave some area's a different colour?

i got a couple of small bubbles, but those are easily pliable. Can't really see it. i went for matt black. Did the hood and the roof for protection. Don't really care how it looks at this point. But it seems easy enough to remove it if need be. Actually looks pretty descent. Going for the rough shape. Ha.

If you're still thinking of bed lining the whole thing you should look into Monstaliner, you can get it almost any colour you want!

With my latest repairs, the need for new tires, bushings and suspension work and buying an apartment, that's worked it's way down the list, but I'm still planning to do it at some point. Thanks for the recommendation.
