Congratulations Morgonzo!

Registering a Delica can be a monumental event, not unlike bringing a new child into this world...

We look forward to the photos!

Well, like some of you alluded to, registering a Delica is it's own experience :-) We were at the Tag office here in GA for two hours :-( and do you want to know what their big problem was? Our insurance company had added zeros onto the end of the "Too Short" Japanese VIN...which changed the identity of the vehicle in GA's database  . So we had to call our insurance and have them put the zero's BEFORE the VIN to make GA happy. That got us the Title, but getting the plates was another hassle because for some reason the van was not showing up in GA's database as insured (even though we've had insurance on it for a week :? ) so we needed to show the Tag office a copy of the 30 day Binder to get the Tag. Which the Ins.Co. kept messing up everytime they sent it to us. :-x
So after two hours of being on the phone with the Ins. Co. inside the Tag office with two young children, we got the Tag. 8-)

Boy did I need a beer after that. :-)

Cheers,

M

Sounds like they made you work hard for that beer! Good thing that the registration process is something you need to deal with once only... :M

Thanks Chuck! I'm really pleased with this little van! :-) Haven't driven her all that much since we got the plate because I was wating on the correct oil filter to show up at the parts store today. I had ordered the wrong one, and it wouldn't even get up into the underbody of the van. Um..i think there's something wrong here  Finally got her all filled with fresh Delo 400, fresh oil and fuel and air filters. I know I have tires and shocks in our future (I'm thinking BF'A/T's and Rancho's..) which is fine because it needs an alignment and I want to raise the torsion bars anyway. That's a nice Delica you have. What does the "Jasper" mean? I'm taking it as a trim level or something like that right?

Btw, what is the fluid reservoir near the air-box, under the drivers seat (RHD)? Is it Power steering? I've been looking through the manuals and cannot get an answer.

Thanks.

It's the PS reservoir. Check this Engine Manual, page 11B-1. You can find it in the L300 Technical Reference Library/L300 Shop Manual Downloads.

Falco.
