I purchased a rolled 1995 L400
I sort of thought it would be a fun, cut the roof off the rig.
It is mostly all destroyed, mainly the passenger side. Though the drivers side has some damage.
Engine, trans, transfer, diffs etc all seem to function.
Should I just part it out...Or take a challenge and make it a high country rig. I would have it open, with mountain bike racks on the roof for running shuttles.
But would this destroy the strength of the thing. I suppose i would need to reinforce the inside floor with some C or sutiable tubing
Warm Regards

I'd say it depends on how much you paid for it - would be an expensive shuttle rig if you can't make it road legal. You could easily get a few grand parting it out, especially if you can wait to sell some of the big items.

True that.
A local company uses Mog’s for Mtn travel, usually with 6-8 guests.
Hard to know what the possibilities are
It was darn near free!

It seems I am going to give up on converting this to an open top Safari/High Country rig
So I will attempt to part out.
Any suggestions please ?
Warm Regards
James
