Newbie

Post by Spaceship1 »

Hi,
Well the Delica journey begins,,,,this should be fun,,,,,I've seen Delis all around and then it dawned on me that we have a supplier in Cumberland. I'm retired and want a camper ,,,not really an off road er in the true spirit of off roading, but I'd like to be able to travel on rough roads with some confidence and from what I'm hearing this could be the way. The you tube stuff is mind blowing.
Any input as to what to be aware of re weaknesses,,,or suggestions as to the best for two people to do some long weekend camping and fishing down logging type roads would be appreciated.
I'm off to Cumberland as my search begins.

Onwards and upwards

Hi! Well it's been a week and no welcome wagon so hello. :)

I'm very new here but I feel I've nearly read every post (unlikely). Seems that there are a few issue more common, but really, not that out of the ordinary for 25year old cars. Brake master cylinder dribble, valve cover 'halfmoon' leaks, head gaskets, crank and cam seals, etc... But from what I can see these items are relatively easy to get to. I bought mine privately realizing there would be work and it looks like it was dipped in oil before assembly. :)

Anyway, enjoy your hunt!
