Temporary import while driving around the world

Hi folks

I hope you are all doing well.

My wife and I are driving around the world and we intend to ship our Delica from Sydney, Australia to Vancouver.

I've done as much research as I could and I do understand there is no impediment in doing so. Canadian law allows us to bring our car temporarily into the country without any issues. However, very little I can find on regards to what the process really is.

I've contacted many container companies and they are usually limited to doing all the work from Australia to landing in Canada, but won't help us with clearing the Customs.

I was wondering if there is anyone here who would be able to shine a light and help us out?

Regards

This should help get you started. Hopefully you have no pets riding along as they won't be allowed in due to quarantine laws.

To add to Big Bird's information ~ you might also check in with the local Canadian Embassy in Australia. There's one in Perth at 267 St Georges Terrace.

Falco.

P.S.: Let us know when you're passing through Vancouver and let have a Delica Meet here, as well.
