I've seen this van grow from stock to highly modified.

Patrick has a lot more than $5,500 what he's asking in mods alone on this rig.

Sorry to see you let it go.

Someone is getting a killer deal.

The vehicle is currently at 127, 461KM

Great van, unfortunately the engine as low compression in cylinder 2, most likely needs new rings. I do not have the money nor the time to take on this project and would love to keep this deli alive in the hands of a new owner. The Van still runs, and can hold a good speed as long as your not going up steep hills. Price quote on whole new engine is around $2000 depending on the kilometers, with labour costs generally being around $1000. A new engine also may not be needed as it may just be a ring replacement, which could be much cheaper. Either ore, a backyard mechanic could do it for much cheaper.

You would be walking away with a deli with more than $6000 worth in mods alone, for $5500 then get engine work done and STILL be below the average cost for an imported delicas!

Just drove past your rig on the way up to whistler Patrick.

Some pics.

My advice. Don't sell it. You finally built it up the way you wanted from the start.

Dropped to $4,500.00

Any cheaper and I'll have to do the work myself and some one will miss out on a GREAT opportunity!

Hey Patty, new to the forum so not sure if there is a better way to do this.
But i just rolled my L300 the other day, http://s992.photobucket.com/albums/af46 ... G_9240.jpg some pics of it.
but she seems good minus the body work that needs doing.
Patty... Delica sans engine
Me... engine sans shiny delica

something to think about

do a leak down test. tool like a compression guage but you add compressed air when piston at TDC with valves closed and it rates the amount of leak in the cylinder. you listen at the crank case (bad rings or head gasket into the oil passage) or intake (bad intake valve) or exhaust valve (bad exhaust valve) or bubbles in rad (bad head gasket) or noise around head (bad head gasket). great tool to figure out why low compression.

good luck with it. I have a engine hoist if you decide to fix yourself.
