SOLD....Ugh....A sad day....

A sad day! Must sell my 1993 Delica L300. Life has happened and I have to let go of my beloved van. Here’s the goods:
-1993 Delica Exceed L300 (P35W) 4WD w/Crystal lite roof. RHD. Black on top with silver bottom. Cold weather package w/ block heater and double batteries. She starts up really well in -20 C.
-Bought approx 2 and half years ago. 86,000kms when purchased currently has 106,000kms. All mileage has been completely trouble free.
-Engine 2.5L Turbo Diesel (4D56T) w/ water cooled turbo. Engine pulls incredibly strong. This L300 is a hotrod (Relatively speaking…)
-3 speed automatic transmission w/ overdrive. Part time 4x4 w/ auto locking hubs. These little vans are extremely competent and confident off road.
-7 passenger. 4 captain chairs and sliding folding bench in rear. All rear seats fold flat and sleeps 2 adults very comfortably. Fits a queen size mattress.
-Crystal light roof w/ all shades functioning
-Sun roof
-Fog lights
-Original power window curtains in decent shape all around. 2 are working.
-functioning hot/cold box
-No rust especially on the roof.

*At time of purchase all of the following work was done. (all parts were new OEM. No rebuilds!)
-Procomp 9000 series shocks with polyurethane bushings x 4
-New timing belt and tensioner
-New Radiator and rad hose
-New thermostat
-New water pump
-New polyurethane front and rear sway bar bushings
-E-code DOT compliant headlights and Day time running lights
-New camshaft, crankshaft, oil pump and tensioner seals
-New tensioner bearings
-New 4 piece fan belt
-New block heaters and batteries
-New front rotors and brake pads (rear brakes @ 75%)
-Reseal inside and outside front panels (So no wet floor issues)
-Replace front/rear differential and middle transfer case gear oil
-Repack front axle (grease)
-New fuel filter



*Add-ons, extras and recent work
-Killer Stereo. Kenwood Excelon head unit w/ ipod connection in glove box. 6 hertz speakers and 10" sub. JL Audio 3 channel amp. Great sound and thump. Stereo installed by MSC Calgary.
-Protective headlight and taillight film, Wind shield protection film and tinting all around. Very light tint on the drivers and passengers door so no hassle from the cops. All protective films and tinting installed by Refine Auto Salon Calgary.
-Recent work done Nov ’11. Rebuilt turbo, CVI “Delica tune” w/ injector clean, New air filter, New transmission filter and fluid change, New valve cover gasket and oil changed approx 1500kms ago.
-Comes with 2 sets of tires and rims. Highway setup 17” rims w/ 235/65R17 (pictured) and Off road/winter setup 15” rims w/ 225/75R15.
-Comes with the much desired and sought after fender flares with new gasket kit. Matching silver in colour (not installed).
-Nov ’11 installed 2.5” SS exhaust. Great sound and power improvement.

Still not thrilled that I must sell, but I am hopeful to find a good home. This is a very nice rig that needs nothing. It’s in great shape cosmetically and outstanding shape mechanically. Buyer will be able to enjoy on and off road right away. This is the ultimate family/roadtrip vehicle. This van is great around town, drives better on the highway than my 4runner and is more than capable off road. It is currently insured and driven in Calgary AB. I have most of the receipts for work done and the OPP. For those in the know….This is a Mardy (Amazing Autos) vehicle. All service has been done at CVI (Richmond) and Kirkham Automotive (Calgary). Over $14,000 invested…..A deal at $11,700 obo. I’m willing to talk so come make a non-insulting offer and drive it home.

Thanks Bassnailer. It's not a happy decision, but my loss is someones gain. It was a pleasure meeting you also and having our CVI adventure. I've also met many other great owners and wanabees. But like I said.....I'll be back....
