What fuel line to use?

Post by josh »

Does anyone know a product number for fuel line good for a WVO/Biodiesel conversion? I thought it would be relatively simple to figure out what to use, but so far no one up here seems to have any idea. Anyhow, if anyone knows please help! and possibly fire me a PM also... thanks

Josh, just regular fuel lines at the auto stores will work for everything; dino-diesel, bio-diesel, wvo. With WVO only I have used that braided clear food hose, found at the plumbing stores, that is far cheaper.

Thanks Kev,

Whew its so close... I just am keeping my fingers crossed that the kit gets here in time... I made it real clear to plantdrive that i needed it before the 5th. Tomorrow is the fifth, so I hope it shows up then, or even friday. Anyhow, I am sure it will be here. They did say it would not be a problem.

Thanks again kev, its just that everyone goes glossyeyed with confusion when you tell them what you are using it for and what it should be rated for... and it never helps that I am always a little confused myself! What a gong show, I am sure you guys had no idea who you were signing up to help hey? :-)

Hey Josh,
Great that your kit arrived! Hope everyone has a good time up at Cariboo fest. Wish I could be there but anxiously await full detail and pics of conversion.

I don't know if this should be in parts for sale section but with the business that I'm in I have access to any type of hose and industrial fitting and have all the specs for all of it. So if you or anyone needs details Ie. temp ratings, psi, compatible fitttings etc etc. Post a topic or PM and I can look up the info whilst at work. I will also ship anywhere and give fellow deli owners a good deal. 8-)

Good luck on July 7th...

Sean
