Of course veg system idle is slower

It occurred to me today: that vegetherm draws over 200 watts, like having 4 headlights on at once. That kind of power draw will slow down your idle just like turning your lights on does, due to load on the alternator. I checked today; the instant I flipped over, the idle dropped 100 RPM, long before and veg hit the injectors.

If you run a vegetherm expect a slower idle when running on veg.

The veg is also more viscous and you are pulling it through a fairly long fuel line. Larger diameter, and heating, help, but it's still thicker than diesel.
Anyway, not arguing your point here, but if you see idle drop more than 50, and are bothered by it, you can always adjust the idle up a little.
Also, we do offer the Vegsensor, which is is inexpensive and easy to install, and will turn off the relay when the injector nut reaches about 80C, turning off the Vegtherm.
At idle, this happens. And when you take off from that red light and the flow increases, and temp drops off a bit, the Vegtherm is on again.
And so on.

On a similar note, my IP has a small screen filter that occasionally needs to be cleaned. It's easy to tell when it gets dirty as I loose some power.

Interestingly, when I flip from hot veggie to diesel I loose noticeably more power which tells me that hot veggie oil is thinner than diesel... Food for thoughts ;)
