Careful where you buy fuel...

Post by nxski »

Careful where you get fuel. I hate running biodiesel in my vehicle because it dries out the seals, but not every station advertises that it's what they're selling.
2177 Dollarton Highway only states that they sell biodiesel on their receipt, after you've already bought it!

On the upside, I had my best fuel economy since adding my roof basket and lift...11L/100km with my foot to the floor. The joys of having calipers that aren't seized. :-D

EDIT: As it's sort of related to the topic, I found it interesting that my fuel gauge only works when I fill up with Diesel from the USA. Any idea why this might be?

I was gonna ask: does the 10% or so if bio-Diesel matter? Most pumps seem to put it in by default. Where can you buy 100 dinosaur?
