A question or two about CB radios

Hey folks I'm looking at getting a CB radio set in my Delica. Before I do so I was hoping for a few suggestions from the group. Any bad sets or any that would be ideal? I searched amazon and found about a million different sets so I figured I would ask here. Also how easy was it to do the install? Did you do it alone or did you seek help? Thanks in advance for your help!

I have a cheap Midlands CB and it's fine for communicating with others on the trail, etc. (it's in my Jeep).

We also recently got into a VHF radio, which is far superior in range and quality.

Cool! How was it to install? VHF like a ham radio?

It's a hand-held unit with a magnetic roof mount, so in major install at all. And yes, VHF like HAM.

I've moved this thread to the "Radio Communications" forum in Delica Canada Technical.
