i took the bullbars off, striped the bullbars paint and cleaned them with paint-thiner then sanded the metal with 180g sand-paper to get the metal rough I used truck box coating(rubber coating)worked great got it at walmart 10$bucks a can i used 2 cans. You can get the paint stipper from NAPA and where the plastic MITSU sign is covering the bull bars i use black rust pait i had laying around after i coated the visible parts two coats of aka rubber,i also heat guned the plastic heres some before and after pics! O and minus the new fog lights 
one step at a time lol all in all it took 4-6 hours. Cheers;Marty
