Need a pic of L400 spring spacers!

I'm getting some spring spacers made up as my airbags are being a bit of a pain in the ass, I'm just wondering if someone could PM or text (4162205869) me a couple quick snaps of theirs(question mark). I don't think there's much to it, but still. Also, if anyone needs some, let me know and I can get a price! Sorry about the (question mark), I'm on my ladys computer with a french keyboard... no idea what any of the punctuation does....

Ok, how about if anyone can tell me if the spacers just sit in there like the springs do or are they attached to the top plate on some fashion?

The spring spacers go between the top spring "cap" and the body.
The cap is bolted on with 3 bolts, so the spacer needs 3 holes in it.
The spacer will need to be the same (or similar) diameter as the cap so as to spread the load.
You will also need to buy longer bolts.

Any nice person out there willing to lay on the ground and measure the bolt spacing of the top plate for the rear springs?? There's a DelicaClub sticker or two in it for you!! Postage paid by me! And a heartfelt thanks!

For posterities sake, if anyone ever needs to make coil spacers, the measurements are 3.5" centre to centre on the bolt holes! Well, not exactly 3.5" but I got 1/2" holes drilled and it worked marvellously. Go buy yourself some 6" aluminum bar stock cut as long as you want and get started!

I see that you never ended up getting any pics sent to you on the thread, did you get any pics of what you did and what the spacers ended up looking like?

thanks

Here's what I ended up with. It's 6" round aluminum bar stock, from Metal Supermarket cut to whatever length you need. The holes are 1/2" diameter, and 3.5" apart from each other.

If you're looking for extra height though, Coombs now has rear springs that will lift the back a fair amount. They may cost more than spacers, but still.

Thanks, I just picked up a set of the springs.
Did you have to put spacers anywhere else when you put in your spring spacer? Sway bar? Links? Proportion inn valve?
I'm guessing either a longer shock or a spacer for the shock as well?

If yes to any or all of those, do you have pics and measurements? Thanks!

My L400 also has the CCauto coils, they installed them and did not instal sway bar spaces or a spacer on load proportioning valve. So going off that it doesnt seem to be neccesary.

I installed my CCA coils and really like them. They raised the rear to 37" at the top of the wheel well. I've yet to load them with any weight but. Maybe next week I'll load them up.

Has anyone increased the rear brake line length to compensate for the extra height when 4X4ing??

Hey thanks for the reply, so not to be to detail oriented, but when you say 'they' installed them you mean CCA?
just wanting to be clear.... I suppose I could pick up the phone and check with them... but there seems to be several different answers on here, some saying spacers required and some not

I don't have sway bar spacers, I do have the brake spacer. From what I've read, the brake valve can be adjusted manually so the spacer isn't needed. Spacing the sway bar linkage is super easy if you want to do it but I don't go through them any faster with that extra stretch. I've had my van loaded with tools and material and haven't noticed any sag at all with the HD springs.

Yes CCautos in stalled them. They did not domanything to levek out the front, one of these days i'd like to crank the torsion bars...to much going on right now.
