Hey Rich,

Why are you cancelling your post? I know there's an order of 20 kits from the UK to the Island but if Jensen is still going ahead with making those I'd rather buy local... Why get our steel shipped to UK, transformed into EGR plates and shipped back home? No wonder our world is falling apart!

Cheers,

Having watched this post from the outside, I think the cancellation is more a victim of herding-cats syndrome than anything.

Seriously man, You don't want the top plate to be stainless. I haven't been typing all this stuff about electrolytic reaction because I like the sound of my fingers on the key pad.

O.k. so to make it easier on myself and since I don't want to track down everybody and PM people and what not I'm going to make 40 of the 1/4" kits (that's the 2 plate one) and I'm going to make 20 of the 1/8" single plates (actual thickness will be 0.105"). These will be the group buy plates and the ones I'm offering for the $10 and $4 price. Once they're gone they're gone. I'll be making more in the future which I will keep in stock but they'll be at the higher price that I listed before (can't remember but I'll check it, it's still really cheap). I'm going to get my wife to set up paypal or something like that to take payment as I'm a noob when it comes to online selling. This will be for people who are ordering these from outside of the lower mainland. Anyone local who wants one I can most likely meet you or drop it off somewhere and you can pay in cash in person. I'd like to have a mini meet to get as many of these dropped off at once and also to have an install tutorial as I don't even know how they go in. So, when I get delivery of the plates I'll try to set that up. Is everybody cool with this? I'm placing the order for the 40/20 right now so hopefully I'll get them back before the weekend.

Anybody that's already PM'd me and spoken for kit's consider your orders booked.

That's the way to do it... Just go ahead with it!

As I said before, I'll take two kits of the 1/4" plates, thanks!

Heck no, I get sh#t done... The order for the plates is in, about 1/4 of them are spoken for so if you guy's want them PM me and get on the list. ALSO, don't forget I can pre drill an NPT hole for you if you want on either plate so if you want it done let me know when you PM me.

Forgot to mention, when you ask for the NPT hole please tell me which plate you want it in (Exhaust for Pyro thermocouple, Turbo for boost pressure gauge) and tell me what diameter you need (Check your kit!).

thanks.

I'm in the process of setting up an online store (paypal and credit card) I've got to phone the shop (as I'm at home sick today) and I'll see how the order is coming along, I'm shooting for delivery before friday.

SO FAR,

I have confirmations from

Luna Sea, Impalator, Seral, Delicat, Afterburners and Manic 29. Some of them are ordering more than one set so I've only got 29 left up for grabs.

People who have mentioned they want one but haven't PM'd me are
Jordan, Sasquatch-hunter, thedjjack, deli 1733, jelbon, Antacoma, Pedro, Electrik-jester, Coaxial, gtex junkie, misterroboto, almac,
golf cart, tait, hankster, lars, yojimbo (not sure if you wanted one or you were just offering advice?), big bird, dennis_lambert (not sure if you want one as I think you're making your own now?)

Anyway, I'm only making 40 of the 2 piece 1/4" thick EGR eliminating kits and 20 of the thinner blanking plates. As I mentioned before, of the people who've messaged me some are ordering multiple kits, so please PM me and confirm asap because once they're gone the one's I'll be carrying will be more expensive. (although still cheaper than anywhere else you can get them!)

Hi Jensen,

Which one is better? The thicker one or the thinner one? Also, when will you have time to meet up? I'll say how about another mini meet @ Ikea COQ. next week (week days evening)?

cheers,
seb

Just did the EGR-ripout on Monty and got the blanks from Noel. Exhaust pipe blank was fitted with a welded-in plug to receive the EGT probe - think it was 30$.
