I'm a fan of 'when I press on the brake pedal' my vehicle stops at a decent rate.

Yesterday I had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting a car that stopped for no reason in the middle of an intersection. Wow, does the nose dive on these :shock:
No problems until this morning. While I'm backing out of the driveway, I turn the wheel and there is a loud bang from the front...

Changing the upper ball joints is fairly straight forward in principal (if you are confident at simple to moderate jobs on a vehicle?) Here is a 'rundown' of what you need to do.

When I get time, I'll try and produce a more detailed guide, but hopefully this will help for now?

WHERE TO FIND THE TORSION BAR ADJUSTER

If you follow the long rod/bar a few feet back from the front wheel on the drivers side, you should be able to trace it back to the adjuster easily enough. It is easier to find it on the drivers side first (more room). Have a look at the photo below for...
