To all,
I still think as I originally stated, this trip is a fun trip for those involved (D2S) and nothing more (no higher purpose, no educational thrust, just a jolly)!! The rest of the conversations are very interesting though!!

Hey Jesse,
I could lend you a nice rifle if you want to get some nice shots of a grizzly or polar bear!!!
Always trying to help!!! Feel free to stop by Fanny Bay so we can burn off bit of carbon before you leave!!

Bruce has always said that they're crap compared to the L300 (no real difference to buying an MPV IMO).

Still nothing about the Deli!!! It's not like this is a Delica forum or anything, must have accidentally stumbled on to the "self-important-gonna-teach-all-a-lesson.ca" by mistake. Have fun - hope your vehicle is well prepared. I'll give you some good advice - take your Deli to Glen at Coo...

Re: Guinness World Record with Delica October 1st Mile Zero
b. Vegetable oil comes from plants that grow, absorb C02, and is then released as we burn it in our vehicle. This is the “theory” of carbon neutral that Biodiesel corporations would have you believe. What they don’t tell you is to harvest, fertilize, pesticide, and process the oil creates C02. Well...

Yet more pontificating prattle, what you are doing is going on jaunt with your girlfriend and tarting it up as some noble cause. Save the diatribe and enjoy what it is you're actually doing - a post university adventure before you have to settle down and earn a living. We all did the same thing, bac...

Re: Guinness World Record with Delica October 1st Mile Zero
What a load of self-indulgent drivel IMO. Be that as you may see it, it is THEIR dream. And more importantly, they're not just dreaming it, they're living it. IMO, I think it is a much more sustainable trip that the one Al Gore is flying about pitching his "Inconvenient Truth" movie. I do...

Re: Dickering
I purchased 20 months ago and at that time the choice was pay the asking price $9900 or don't get the vehicle as there were 10 people lined up to buy the vehicle if I didn't (in fact I only got the vehicle because the guy with dibs hesitated for about two hours). That was then this is now and I thin...

Different Idea On Ladder
After almost two years of trying to get a decent ladder at a fair price (for basically well used units in generally poor condition), I had what I think is a better solution. I bought a collapsible ladder from Canadian Tire (for $179.00) that I think has the following advantages: - Much stronger than...
