Actuator valve - how to know it work?
Good day,
I was wondering if there is a way to see if the actuator valve open and close at it should be. While idling and pushing the gas pedal and reving up the engine, should the valve open then at the highest push?
Does my question makes any sense anyway?

Re: L300 faulty Turbo
Yes I will have a new plug inserted and welded on one of the 3 turbos I have at home. 2 brand new, had about 5000km on them. One has a pretty deep crack in the housing (not the turbine part) and the other one is leaking oil. At ranging between 400$ and 600$, you'd expect them to last longer than tha...

L300 faulty Turbo
Good day!
Am I the only one in this community that has not just once but twice the turbo plug pop out from 2 different brand new turbos? Well the second one was 3 years old.
This is very annoying. Do you guys carry a 2nd turbo all the time with you guys?
Anyone?

Re: Marinco Block Heater Plug Mod
I apologize to bring back this thread, but I know that a member of this forum actually installed one of those marine outlet on the side of the sliding door. Another member in Whitehorse did the same mod. Who was it? I would like to contact him/her directly. I have a few questions and alternative ide...

Re: Turbo Refurbishing
Hey Mister! Good to hear from you! I'm on the East coast. There is a mechanical engineer here that is specialized in refurbishment turbos (balancing and all). I just need to speak with someone that is familiar with our turbos so I can explain the gentlemen what he could do. On one of my extra turbos...

Re: Raspberry Pi computer
Yes I've been learning about the basic stuff with the Pi like the on/off issue. The links that I've posted, one guy actually developed the coding and is free to use. As I said, yes I could get an actual gauge for what I need, but I think to have it right on the media center screen is pretty sweet. L...

Good day everyone! I would like to know if some of you have thought of getting a Raspberry Pi (I just ordered mine) and use it in our Delica/Pajero or others? I found a few videos on youtube (see below the links) and it would be possible to use it with sensors to have better data on our fuel consump...

Intermittent starter
Good day, Lately, it happened a few times where the starter... did not start. It seems to be either a loose wire or maybe a solenoid. When I turn the key, the ECU makes it's "clicketing" thing and when done, one more turn and just one click. It seem to be coming from one of the little blac...
