Re: Locate the Recreation Site
I did a cursory report on Coldscaur Lake in February of 2018 using info from a pit stop I made in 2010. It was quick and incomplete so here is the upgrade. Coldscaur is a lake I've driven by a number of times on my way to other lakes west of Clearwater and beyond. It is one of those lakes you always...

Re: L300 3rd row seat
Not to steal the thread but - I have my gray 3rd. row seat from my 91 Super Exceed if you interested. The seat is in really good shape but I've broken a couple of the plastic pieces moving it from place to place for the last number of years. It's available for pick up in Kamloops.

Re: Intermittent higher idle
I had this problem several years ago. It would happen in the late fall and winter whenever I when over 3000' elevation. In the summer it would rarely happen. I was told it was likely the governor sleeve sticking. I decided it wasn't a big problem so left it until I needed to get the I/P pump rebuilt...

Re: I’m still here
Good to see your back and maybe better than ever. I certainly remember your innovative WVO systems even though I never did go the WVO route. I also remember the sound advise you gave many of the group. Maybe you could add your name to the 10 year + list as I know there must be others that are still ...

Re: Air adjustable shock absorbers
Well the other shock broke @ the top on the weekend exactly the same as the first one. I could have taken another picture and it would have been exactly the same. The good news is the first one is still holding and I've welded this one so I have 2 'good' shocks again. See how long they stay in one p...

Re: Locate the Recreation Site
It was nice to have Kevin's island post for a little variety. I hope the snow wasn't fresh but it sure looked that way.... My last trip of the year was to be to Skyline lake a small lake southeast of Vavenby about 15 km and if it didn't work out I would go to Graffunder Lake about 6 km further south...

Re: Faulty gas gauge: a reason.
I don't think it's magnet wire. Typically NA vehicles use a 70 ohm resistance from empty to full. You would need to find out if the Delica is the same and if so that would determine the wire you need - both size and length. You could use a multimeter to measure the resistance of both top and bottom ...

Re: Air adjustable shock absorbers
I discovered this week that my air shocks have failed. I installed them in March and only have a few thousand km on them. The top broke off which is the opposite end to sk66. I'm not sure how they welded it together but if that's all that's holding then it's no wonder they don't last long. Rather th...

Re: Good to see this site back up
Good to see the site up and working again. Seems we said this in March as well. It would be nice to know if the view counter on steroids' is part of the cause. The counts seem way out of whack for the number of members who typically use the site!!

Locate the Recreation Site
This post is for my first trip to East Maury Lake in late July. This lake is north and west of Clearwater about 70 km. It is very easy to find and the roads are in pretty good shape. I'm sure any van could make it. You could even take your Motorhome if you don't mind the dust. The lake is just past ...

I have a complete set you can have for the shipping if your in Canada. They were working fine when I took them off several years ago but may need a little TLC to make them functional again. The hassle to ship to the USA @ this time is not worth getting rid of them unless I charge for them which make...

Locate the Recreation Site
This lake is not on my highly recommended list but may now be better than when I was there. Nevertouch Lake is located south of Hwy #6 on the Kettle Valley FSR or possibly Split Creek FSR for part of the way. The Kettle Valley route is about 60 km from the Hwy and the Split Creek Route is about 37. ...

Power steering for Delica II/L300
All of the L 300's here have power steering with a 4D56 turbo engine. I would expect some parts would fit. Which parts are they having trouble to locate or modify?

Locate the Recreation Site
I finally get to report on a new to me Rec Site. This last week I spent 3 days @ Gwen lake. Gwen is located east of the Coquihalla using the Comstock exit south of Merritt. The lake is about 6.5 km from the highway with less than a km. to challenge your van. The road has a few water holes but the la...
