What did you do TO your Delica today?
Exhaust manifold bolts breaking is pretty common due to the repeated heating and cooling. You'll want to soak them with penetrant while hot and let cool. I'd recommend being prepared for the worst. Purchase the bolts and nuts, have a drill and taps on hand, bolt extractors (though I generally find t...

Hello from Victoria!
Diesels only make fìnancial sense if you're driving a lot of kilometers pulling a trailer or with a heavy load. Diesel vehicles have more expensive filters and oil and diesel is no longer cheaper than gas. The only way I can justify owning two diesel trucks is that for the most part my fuel is free ...

Delica or Pajero Diesel for Calgary Weather??
Calgary doesn't often get so cold that diesels won't start. If all the systems are in good shape, you use some fuel additive and you have a block heater, recirculating heater or polar pad, you're set. If you often leave it for days at a time and you can't plug it in, there could be issues, but that ...

Space gear 2002 V6 3.0L Gas, accélération problem
Lots of options. Good to change the fuel filter. How is the fuel, has it been sitting or just come off the boat? Maybe run some injector cleaner through. How's the air filter? No air in means less acceleration. You might want to clean the throttle body. Is the check engine light coming on? You could...

Need a Saftey for a 89 L300 in Winnipeg Area
Hi Tyler, welcome! Are you looking in the city or out your way? I've been happy with Ness Auto on Ness and Sturgeon Creek Automotive on Portage around Moray. I work in Selkirk and Selkirk Tire is a good shop as well. Post some pics of your Delis and hopefully I'll see you around. Ralph in Winnipeg 9...

Lucky! That could have been unpleasant.
I have the Strada back on the road after resting for the winter. Loaded a good amount of scrap from a guy that was cleaning out his garage, truck has to earn it's keep! Motor, tranny, 4 doors and some miscellaneous bits.

just bought 2002 L400 anniversary edition!
Nice! I'd wait until it's in Canada. I would change the filters, change all the driveline fluids to synthetic, DRLs and install a Polar pad. All easy stuff to do yourself or get a good local shop to do. This is a good task to test a shop out. There's lots of Delicas in Calgary so should be some dece...

So you have the tires on rims and the van......jack it up and put them on! Observe. Test drive. Do they fit?

Vancouver brokerage for importing my Delica
I have used Thompson Logistics for all my imports, Al is a great guy and takes care of his clients. I usually buy JDM vehicles through Braveauto and they work with Al so the fee is rolled into the brokerage cost. I get an itemized bill from Thompson for the import costs at the port which is between ...

There's lots of options for parts in Vancouver. I'd try a reputable rad shop to see if they can rebuild it for less than a replacement would cost.

Best way to get the right one would be to import yourself. Not that hard and you'll have more options.
