1992 Strada R

Somewhere in customs now, working its way through the system. Hope to meet it in a few weeks.

In the mean time, I bought it a Christmas gift...an android double DIN headunit.

Truck is now a day from landfall in BC. Then I'll have to get though customs, get shipping to Edmonton, pass an OOP, etc. In the mean time, I've got a 250w pad heater on the way for the oil pan. And a stereo harness. Waiting for black Friday sales before I get a head unit to wire it to. The waiting ...

Pajero Petrol Parts Needed

Locally, Rising Sun Imports is whom I'd recommend. Milner's Offroad (UK) is a great source and is quick with turn around. Partsouq (EU) and Amayama Trading (UAE and JP) can get you oem parts. I'm purposely not including direct links just in case. But a quick Google will get you to all these places...

95 SWB Rear Window

All the glass is the same from montero to pajero. The only exception may be sliders on rear quarters versus non-sliders, depending on your model. I bought a passenger's side front window (after I cleaned the glass out of my ear) from a local mitsu dealer. No problem. The body is the same, barring in...

Pajero Windshield

I've already sent you this via message but in case others have the same question - yes, the Montero and Pajero share windshields. Several of us have confirmed this over the years. Remember that JDM pajeros were a year ahead of monteros - so a 93 pajero is a 94 Montero, etc.

Yep, very little room for FMIC. I'm doing a top mount from a pajero.

Gallium sounds like a rare element. I'll have to dig some more...

The plan... This will be replacing my DD 2013 Lancer Sportback, so reliability is king. To that end, I'll be starting with maintenance. First up is timing and cooling. I've already bought all new belts, waterpump, all new filters, plus stat and rad cap. Still need to source upper and lower rad hoses...

Intro - the Search... I've finally found one. And it was not without difficulty. I've been told that these are getting snatched up for export to Africa these days, so when the rare one shows up at auction, you are likely in competition to get it for something close to a reasonable price. I watched f...

I should start a thread I guess? It is coming from japan. The number coming up for auction these days is absolutely desparate. There have only been 12 or so in the last four months. NONE in October whatsoever. But enough about mine, this is your thread. :) Are you planning on intercooling yours? And...

Re: Pictures of FUGU.

Very cool! Love the 4m40! It's a great engine. Two questions... 1. What tent model is that? I thought the attaching type tent needed a vehicle with a clamshell style back door? But that looks like it works great! 2. Did you get a matching wheel for your spare tire? Great truck. If you are in Calgary...

That'd be great. That'll give us two Deli's... still underrepresented compared to paj's though... where are the rest of you Calgary Delicas? You can't all be stuck in your garages trying to swap glow plugs! Lol.

Calgary 4wd mitsu meetup #2: May 27th, 2016

May 27th at 6:00... Who's interested in another Mitsu meetup? We were thinking about the same A&W in Symons Valley, since it serves those in the north as well as the south... April's night saw a gen2 pajero, a Paj evolution, a gen3 montero, an L400, a mighty max, and a Galant vr4. Would be nice ...

Re: what the heck is going on with my Glow Plug Control Unit?

Hiya Chris, With the super glow system you will hear the ECU relays clicking on and off as the glow system tunes the temperature of the cylinders to optimal ambient operating temperature. It's not just a one off on-off system, it's normal to hear additional clicks after the engine has been started....
