Re: Alarm - Security Systems

Call Willie 778-988-2700. He installed mine for $550 parts and labor. Remote start, Pager, central locking, turbo timer. That's a new system. :-)

Re: alarm system

I've recently installed an alarm system with remote start, pager, keyless entry and turbo timer too. It comes with centralized locking on all the doors. I'm very happy with it. Cost me $550 for the parts and labor. 8-)

Re: New Member - Port Moody, BC

Hey, that looks exactly like my GMC Van!!! Isn't that funny? Although the safari has served me quite a bit plus the memories with the family in it and absolutely no problems driving it to California a number of times. Kinda sad to part with it but.... hey..this delica is something else... it feels b...

New Member - Port Moody, BC

I've recently purchased a 1992 Delica Super Exceed. I got rid of my '95 GMC Safari as it can't handle the snow and off roading compared to my new delica. I also operate a Delica Workshop in Richmond, BC. We specialize in fixing and servicing Delica's, whether mechanical or trouble shooting problems....

If you plan to park it for sometime, fil' er up first to prevent this condensation problem. I've had some sudden loss of power before ...thinking something went ...

Re: Fuel Adjustment Screw

Hi! just a word of caution on that screw. That's the full load adjustment and is factory preset to deliver the right amount of fuel at certain load conditions. The reason it's sealed with the cap is ....well ...they don't want us to touch it. There are a lot of shims inside the pump that eventually ...

Re: Massive Cloud of Exhaust

Engine type for the delica is a 4D56 using a VE rotary injection pump. These pumps were designed with a cold start system where it delivers a lot more fuel at starting rpm like 150rpm. It is normal for you to see some black smoke everytime you start your engine either when it's cold or hot. Once the...

Re: A bit squealy

Re: A/C idle up adjustments. Mardydelica's right on checking and adjusting idle when the A/C button is pressed in to activate the compressor and idle up actuator on the injection pump. There is a linkage that pulls the lever up to increase idle for A/C. Proper adjustment of this is that when you tur...
