Air Filter Replacement Part Number

Thanks for the info guys. I ended up getting a Fram oil and air filter. The oil filter was $50 bucks at Crappy Tire!!! I almost puked when I saw the bill. Both filters came to nearly $100 bucks, and then there's the oil on top of that!!! Anyway, I change my air filters about every other oil change. ...

Crystal Lite Roof Rusty Spots

This is an excellent thread, and I've got all the time in the world right now. It's the mechanical ability that's still got me a bit spooked. Perhaps I need to give myself a bit of confidence and just attempt the job. Being organized would be key, lots of documentation with lots of photos, parts in ...

Air Filter Replacement Part Number

Hello all,

Haven't been on here in a while and playing catch up. I want to change my air filter on my '93 Super Exceed L300, but Can't find the part number anywhere. I'm hoping to get something at Part Source or Crappy Tire.

Anyone have a part number for this?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Phil

Crystal Lite Roof Rusty Spots

Hi all, Here's a job I've been meaning to tackle for years. I have rust spots on the roof of my '93 Super Exceed. My regular excuse is that I don't have the time. Well, obviously that's not the case considering the current situation. I don't have the mechanical ability to tear out the roof liner fix...

Bought a Parts Van - Suspect Blown Head Gasket or Cracked Head

Hey cosmo, I wish I could help you with your engine, but I'm mechanically declined at the best if times. Are you considering selling parts off of the van? I'm looking for a new front bumper (the modern version without the bull bar attachment). Mine is rusting and I'd rather replace it than repair it...

1993 L300 Drivers Seat Wanted

Hi Alex, That's a great idea. I'm surprised I didn't come up with that one myself with all of this time on my hands, lol. Probably comparable to what it would cost to have a decent seat shipped from the West Coast. I'm surprised at how worn it is considering the low Kms on my van. Everything else ha...

1993 L300 Drivers Seat Wanted

Hello folks, I hope everyone on here is doing well under the current situation. It's been a while since I've been on here and thought this would be a good distraction as I'm self isolating at home. My Delica continues to work well and I'm hoping I'll be able to use it this summer for some camping tr...

4WD Questions

Thanks deskinthewoods, (and growlerbearnz). This is very detailed and most excellent:) I've really only needed 2WD & 4WD. I'm not an off road guy, so the 4WD is just for the 9 months of winter we get in Southern Ontario, lol. And man, what a godsend the 4WD has been so far this winter. I was com...

4WD Questions

Ok cool, Thanks Shaun. From now on I'll always do a little reversing when I take it out of 4WD. I'm also going to continue to stop before switching between 2 & 4. I'm also only going use the 4WD at lower speeds.

4WD Questions

Hello folks, We're already well into winter here in southern Ontario, and with that being said I have a few 4WD questions that I really should have sorted out years ago. I've owned my van for almost 7 years now, and the 4WD is most excellent in the winter months. But I've never been 100% sure on how...

I did it! 1998 L300

Very nice, and welcome to the fold. I have a 1993 L300 that I've owned for almost 7 years now. It's been the best used vehicle I've ever owned. I thought '93 was the last year for the L300, but I think it remained in production until 2001, or something like that. I know the L400 was introduced in '0...

Need part number for hatchback strut

Or you just send your struts to strutwise.com and have them rebuilt. They did mine several years ago (I live in Ontario) and it was the best thing I ever did to my van. Now the hatch stays up, even with a Fiamma Bike Rack attached to it. 8-)

Starter Motor Issues

Thanks for this Growler. After 4 vodkas in, I decided to clear my mind and think about what I may have overlooked that's simple. So I climbed in the van, put the shifter into neutral and cranked it over. Boom, it started right up!! I then put it back in park and shut it off. It started right back up...

Starter Motor Issues

Well I think I found the part number. It's MD072654. I went on amayama.com and it sells for about $1000 bucks!!! Yikes :o

So that's outta the question. I guess I'll see if I can find someone to rebuild the original starter :-(

And in the meantime, I believe I'll have one more cocktail
