Re: Tires ~ AT/S vs Winter for use in snow ??
Hi Nomis, I have a set of Yokohamas on the Miss Lil' Bitchi. I have used them in a couple of snow conditions. First Condition: Was that of snow in North Van, which is not a challenging condition but it gave me an understanding of how they work on ice ~ which wasn't bad considering that I was better...

Re: Why so many sales? / Low roof advice
Honestly....
I haven't noticed the difference when sitting in a High roof cockpit and as you stated, JMK, it rises as it goes further back.

Re: Why so many sales? / Low roof advice
I really dig my P25 (low roof). Miss Lil' Bitchi can get into places like underground car parks and under lower branches when hiding from predators like the "chevrolet" As a painter I find the access to the underground quite useful. I am not so sure it really makes much difference regardi...

Re: Friday March 28th-Sunday March 30th Harrison FSR Round Deux
I was just perusing the new and improved club calendar and it dawned on me that the date is drawing nigh. Have we established the "First Night Camp Site" just yet? If so.... is there anything I have to do in order to find out where it is?... smiles

Re: Bella Coola in mid June
So I'll take some pictures of moss instead. Probably a little more safer. I can work my way up to kodiaks later on.... after shooting moss, I can wrap my head around photographing the ferocious field mouse!

Re: Bella Coola in mid June
Okay, no promises, just yet,
But I am interested in an adventure. Not sure what I have on the table just yet for that time period. If nothing else, it will be nice to get out of town for a week and see some kodiaks. Hopefully shooting them with my 300 mm lens and not my 18mm... smiles.

Re: Breakfast at the Tomahawk
looks like a great turnout and some cool fabrication... I am completely confused though by the second peice. The rear bench part makes sense and the laptop thing is great, but the peice with the mirror hole in it goes where?? Coaxial, The meshed piece is hinged onto the rear bench piece and has two...

Also check the "Breakfast at the Tomahawk" thread, under British Columbia Events - Lower Mainland. Custom skid plates were discussed there, too.

A report from the "Breakfast at the Tomahawk event". I apologise for the tardiness of my posting, I blame it on personal computer knowledge issues ~ which is also why the photos are in reverse order.

Re: Collective noun?
You know.... I could get into "a pack of Delicae". However, when I hear the term "pack", I think of wolves. Are Delicae in the same canine family? It seems to me that we ought to be defining exactly what the Delica is. Perhaps we ought to be looking in the marsupial group ~ more...

Re: Friday March 28th-Sunday March 30th Harrison FSR Round Deux
Is everyone going Friday night or is there gonna be some "left over" leaving Saturday morning? I'm working Friday night until midnight so won't be able to leave until the next morning (unless I do a little night drive?) So anyone out there that might join me for the Saturday morning drive...
