There are 6 of them in the wire cluster that is wrapped in black flexible plastic/tape that runs out from under the fuse box beside the air cleaner. With a test light, you can find the co...

Re: What the heck?!?!
I couldn't find it in their current inventory.
It was a canadian L400 left in the US after being in an accident in the US and the owners probably did not value it enough to tow it back, so it was left there as a salvage vehicle.

Re: Nxski's encounters
Chalk it up to personal opinions/experiences. One paint brush doesn't work for every artist. One bad experience does not make it the same for everyone else and vice versa for the good ones. I battled it out with Rising Sun for a long time, yet every interaction I had with them after the forum shenan...

Re: L400 Brake Calipers Seizing
It's common and the fault lies with the crappy rubber boot that is supposed to keep moisture out from the sliding pins. But it doesn't and eventually they seize. Also luck of the draw on whether the calipers were rebuilt properly (piston seal seated properly).

Re: Weird healight problem
looks like it's hard wired (yellow) wire.
trace the yellow wire from the headlights and let me know which contact wire it goes to under the fuse box.

The DRL, if it's connected the a black wire with a thick blue stripe under the fuse box in the engine bay, disconnect it and I'll send you the instruction to wire it up correctly. Yours may be linked to a hot wire even with the ignition switch off.

Re: LHD Pajero or Montero?
By the sheer numbers and drivetrain durability, the Delica is fragile compared a stock 90-00 Jeep XJ with the 4L HO. Everything from the weak front IFS to the bulk of the driveline hanging below the body on a Delica cannot make up for a 5link front end with a stout, tucked up drivetrain on a stock X...

If you're prepared to ... I'm surprised you believe that everyone will have the same experience as yours. Every dealer/service shop in this in forum feedback area has more positive feedback opposed to negative one's. I'm not defending any dealer. You, being a moderator of this forum, normally abide...

Re: jfarsang's new ride the 'White Elephant'
I've been working in the down town core area. 4km here. Meter parking. 2km there. Meter parking. 5km there. Meter parking. I have an annual HA pass but only for vehicles under 6'6. Doesn't make sense to pay $20+ a day in meter parking when I have it free with a smaller vehicle. Nevertheless, subaru'...

Re: jfarsang's new ride the 'White Elephant'
I need something lower than 6'6, that has space inside for my gear and that I can use through the winter 4x4/AWD as I will be driving the sea to sky hwy 3-4 times a week between vancouver and pemberton. Basically, the only thing that fit for work right now is a subaru wagon. So this is it for this w...
