Re: proper wiring harness&converter for trailer hitch on an
I just did this job on the weekend - pretty easy when you have all the right parts. I went to an RV store in Calgary and told them what I was doing and they gave me all the parts I needed. I will try to explain it as simply as I can I assume you are wanting to end up with a 4-way plug for the boat? ...

Re: Boler joins the family, and your opinion on hitch placem
If the hitch is the three receivers style, I recommend you weld thè hitch to the brackets. Mines sagged a bit as there were a little free play. Bolers are so light, it should be a easy tow. Check the frame before you tow it down dirt trails though. It is the 3 receivers style, I will look at the po...

Boler joins the family, and your opinion on hitch placement
Got us a handsome 1974 Boler in pristine condition, we are looking forward to a lot of camping this summer 8-) I finally got my hitch, and did the install and wiring all myself - despite a minor snag getting the old bumper off, the install went surprisingly well! I got the hitch from Rising Sun, it ...

Re: 1994 SpaceGear 2.8 L Diesel Auto Trouble starting
Double check your battery connections are nice and tight. A bad/dirty/loose connection will power accessories but will fail under a big load from the starter. You would also notice similar behavior from a weak battery that's on its last legs (powers accessories but will not power starter) You may wi...

L300 hitch in Calgary
Just bought a handsome Boler trailer, it even matches the van!
I need a hitch though!
Anyone in Calgary have a hitch on their van that doesn't get used? I will pay good money for good steel.
Thanks!

Re: New member.. old Deli...
The seat issue should be easy to diagnose, remove the 4 nuts holding the seat to the floor to remove the seat. there is a pronged metal bracket that fits into the sliders, that locks the seat in position. maybe it wasn't seated properly before, maybe something is jammed... shouldn't be too hard to f...

The bendy thing with flat end is to pry off the hub cap when you need to change a tire - works like a charm

Re: Post your Delica pics!
Hey Nick, thanks for the compliments. I totally understand that you won't repost, it's a tedious affair. Any new shots of your monster rig would be welcome though 8-) Here are a few from this summer On Kootenay Lake http://i42.tinypic.com/n4bjhf.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/j6n7ld.jpg In Okanagan Fall...

Re: Battery Light
This is exactly what happened to me when my alternator went.
Get it replaced or rebuilt before you are stranded somewhere
You can also get your battery load tested, to be sure - most good battery shops will test for free. (When I say 'good' I do not mean Canadian Tire or Walmart)
