Re: Shocks - boots or no boots

I didn't want to ask in case I got the answer I wasn't looking for. It was a total BEE-ATCH to get the front shocks on with the boots for my L400 without taking things apart. That Pro Comp rubber grabs onto everything it touchs. I elected to go without and I am glad to see that was an okay decision....

Re: Problems starting in the morning or when cold ? Adjustme

I just finished fooling with this adjustment and got it to be where I wanted. Some helpful tips: 1. Counter Clockwise turns on the top screw will increase the revs (remember to crack the lock nut) 2. I eye balled where the throttle should be when the cold start was engaged to give me the idle level ...

Re: Problems starting in the morning or when cold ? Adjustme

Thanks Jesse and Chris. I was able to move things with the screw driver method, so I guess everything is freely moving. Not sure what to make of the differing opinions on how to adjust this though. There are very obviously two adjustment screws on this. I saw on the UK site that counter clockwise in...

Re: Problems starting in the morning or when cold ? Adjustme

Hey! I was messing around with my cold start adjustment shown in the top photo on page 1 by Jesse, but I am wondering if the entire mechanism on mine is seized. I wasn't able to move it at all. I see how it is supposed to work. Favour asking time. Could someone go out to their van (L400) and confirm...

Free L400 front sunroof wind deflector

I removed this wind deflector because my front sunroof doesn't work and didn't need the extra height with my lifted L400. All the clips are there and is in good shape

Free to whoever wants it. I can ship at your cost or better would be a pick up.

Smashed L300 in Duncan

Saw a L300 today on a tow truck. I see this van almost everyday...yellow rims, bull bars etc. Looked like maybe a pole was hit - hope everyone is okay.

Re: Having doubts a Deli is right for me. Pls tell me I'm w

Sounds like the one you drove needs all of the preventative maintence done. If I was to bet this van will leave you stranded somewhere. Likely needs a good $1500-$2000 worth of work. Rad, hoses, water pump, thermostat, new front seal in ip.....these are a must if you want any level of confidence in ...

Re: Seatbelt Latch Jammed: How to take apart ??

Not sure they are meant to come apart. I took apart one of the rear seat female clasps to make it work better for a car seat. My taking it apart ended up with me smashing it apart with a hammer, which did make sense for what I was looking to do. I did try to pry it apart first with no success. -Mark

Re: L400 front sunroof stuck open ? Emergency fix here

.... I dread the day that my sunroof is open and I can't close it even with the allen key.... Like what happened to me tonight. I knew the motor/gear was toast on mine and as it turned out the motor was disconnected from power. BUT I wanted to get the sunroof open to remove the wind deflector. So I...

Re: right front wheel clunk

Sounds like something I had and warmland89 had. Our symptoms were, when the front right wheel was loaded by say turning left and you hit a depression in the road there would be a clunk that felt like it came from your feet area. He tried a lot of things and I waited until he figured it out. It turne...
