Re: Brightening my ambient temperature gauge? Possible?

Hmmm....OK - I'll have to think about this for a bit - too much Sat. night vino right now. The curious thing is, if I cup my hand over the readout, I can just barely see the temp (with DRLs on/working, van running), but when I turn my dash lights on by the column switch, and all my other lights come...

Brightening my ambient temperature gauge? Possible?

Guys, is there any way to brighten the readout of my pod temperature gauge? The light for my clinometer and altimeter are nice and bright, but the temperature readout is really faint. Can that temperature part be replaced? Can the readout be boosted somehow? I tried searching the forum, but no luck....

Re: Put a name to the face and your Delica

Cool - great idea. Here's a couple pics of me (steve) my wife Jen, our summer-shaved Golden Retriever Maggie and "Oreo" (Wife named her, still not too sure about that one) We've only had the Exceed for about a month now? So don't have too many pictures but these are from this past long wee...

Hey...very cool!
Ya we were kinda stalking you on Sunday :-D - we saw you driving up stoney trail, we were coming out of the Nose Hill entrance to Tuscany, then we saw you parked in Tuscany and drove by to take a looksee.

See you around

Re: A rather disheartening find....I think?

That is interesting, we all have tape so far. Seeing the little plastic 'clips' where the blue tape was, I thought for sure everyone else would have some sort of proper cover/flap. I feel very relieved - though to be honest, I still find it a little odd that the factory would slap a piece of tape ov...

Why do diesels last longer?

I was explaining to a friend of mine at work about my new pride-n-joy Delica, and said "yup, only 95K kms on her - and you know diesel's.....they'll go forever!" "Why's that?" my friend asked? "Uuuuh I don't really know - that's just what they say" I said sheepishly. Wh...

Re: Alternator failure with happy ending

Hey guys, nice story - always like to hear about an easy fix! This brings up a quick question I have....are all bolts, nuts, etc on a Deli always Metric sizes? I figure if they are, it would make sense to make myself up a little repair kit to keep in the Delica of different lengths/sizes of Metric b...

"Exceed" on B pillar - sticker or trim piece?

Just a quick question, I noticed on my Delica the "Exceed" writing on the B pillar is blackened out (along with my white bullbars - which I like) - is this "Exceed" writing typically painted on or a sticker on everyone else's Delica? Or is it usually a plastic trim piece? Also, i...

Re: Is this the transmission mount?

Hey Fabio - If you look at the video, press play then quickly press pause. You can just barely see the heat-shield over the rubber engine mount to the left of the first frame or two. There are two engine mounts, the other one is directly on the other side of the engine. I haven't actually replaced m...

Re: Is this the transmission mount?

Thanks guys - 104 bucks from Rocky Mountain Imports.....going to swap this out soon. Sounds like its a pretty easy process - all you need is a jack.
Going to check the motor mounts too.
