I noticed the other day, at a stoplight, that the idle was up around 1000RPM. Normally it’s 750RPM. I made a mental note to adjust it but when I got home it was back to 750.
Next day, back up to 1000. Got home, 750.
Any ideas what would cause this?

Re: Fuel Pickup on Rear Tank
Hi Phil,
Here's a link to the fuel tank parts (for my model, anyway). Maybe you can see the part...

What did you do TO your Delica today?
I picked up a few 10ftx2x6's last weekend and broke the altimeter/tippy-over gauge pod off it's moorings...again...
and my AC crapped out this season, compressor is seized...
so this is my new set-up:
$40. solved two problems. (I'll hang on to the pod gauges and fix them someday...)

Difficulty Starting 'on my 93 L300
The fuel is actually under suction between the tank and the Injection Pump, the IP drawing fuel as opposed to a pump in the tank pushing fuel, I believe. I certainly didn't get fuel spraying everywhere. Regardless, with the engine off, no fuel is moving. Yes, changing the fuel filter is an excellent...

Hi Phil, The first thing that comes to my mind is an air leak in a fuel line. GBNZ suggested to me to temporarily replace the fuel hose from the fuel filter to the Injection pump with a clear tube and watch for bubbles. I believe I used 3/8" ID, about a foot long. It's an easy hose to swap. Att...

Battery Killer
I had the same sort of thing earlier this year, "parasitic voltage drain". You most likely have a ground fault...somewhere! Hook an Amp meter up between your negative battery terminal and the negative lead. With all doors closed and lights off and key out of the ignition you should have no...

Hmmmm. Hard to say without seeing it, but, if the rust is minimal (ie surface rust, NOT holes-in-the-floor rust) and the undercarriage is not too rusty (same idea), and it has been maintained well (especially the timing belt!!!) and you are remotely handy/adventurous/willing to learn in all things m...

Finished up the horn button. A little Ipé, a little copper plate, a little bit of Corian counter-top material.
I lasered in the MMC logo and filled it with epoxy mixed with Ebony sawdust. - Tue Jul 07, 2020 3:37 am

Man, oh man, the prices are going up now that the USA is a market! Glad I got mine two years ago.
