Re: Torsion Bar Adjustment / Custom Socket

best way to adjust those torsion bars is to lift the front tires to release the tension of the torsion bars and it will make wrenching or socketing way easier....don't forget to do alignment after. :-D

Re: Injector Exchange

Just to help out in this discussion. Our Diesel Calibration workshop in Manila doesn't recommend changing or altering injector nozzles with a different specification other than the original specs and type of injector recommended by the manufacturer. Here are a few differences on specs between the tw...

Hi... trouble with the vac solenoid switch actuating the 4WD circuit. You may need to replace them to solve that issue.

Re: Heater flow valve

jfarsang is right. Is your L400 a super exceed one where the climate control is electronic? If it is... then there is an actuator that's causing the problem. It's most likely burnt out and not closing the flap as required by your temperature setting. It is located on the center console below the rad...

Re: fuel system leak

Leaky injectors will contribute and cause that similar issues as well. We've found some cases where the injector nozzles are not holding pressure and will cause that problem on the high pressure side. When you prime your fuel system using the hand primer on top of the fuel filter housing, it should ...

Hey!

Splendid Falco!! That will work! A "how to" or "DIY" section can consolidate all similar issues and cut down redundancy. It'll make it even easier for us to respond to certain issues which can help our community :-D

Re: Maintenance Light Reset?

Hi!

It could mean an engine fault code is present too. Big possibility it's an emission related problem. You can bring it to a basic garage and have them hook up a basic fault code reader to check what code came on...

Good luck,

Re: Van trouble in Calgary

Hi Patton... Mardy is right! There is a small vac hose on the left hand side of your engine connected to the egr. All you need to do is to remove that hose from your egr and plug it. That's it. There is a vac solenoid actuating the egr valve and that is apparently malfunctioning. That will cause all...
