Windshield Vent Not Blowing
Update: I wasn't so lucky. The shaft on the opposite side was indexed 180 degrees out from the right side. I ended up getting a used heater box from CCA in BC instead of screwing around trying to fabricate another shaft. Thanks Graham!! If anyone is interested, here is what your van will look like i...

Used Parts From Russia
Hello Delica.ca
Has anyone figured out how to get used parts from Russia?
There has been a few times that I was looking for something and the only hits I got were from Russia. Not to mention very cheap after currency conversion. Shipping costs might be a different story...

Windshield Vent Not Blowing
Update: Everything is apart now and it doesn't look pretty. The air distribution box is on the garage floor now and ready to be disassembled. The only good news at this point is that the plastic shaft that is broken runs through the unit for either right or left drive. If I'm lucky I can disassemble...

Windshield Vent Not Blowing
Update I have removed both elbows going to the windshield vents. I have operated the lever at the end of the push/pull rod and both gates are operating as they should. The problem is in the distribution box not allowing airflow to the windshield gates when the control lever is operated. Something in...

Windshield Vent Not Blowing
Thanks for the reply The ribbed ducts with the bend in them are completely attached and aligned. I have the cable and plastic cam disconnected so that I can operate each part of the distribution box separately and still no airflow to the windshield vents. I'm guessing that it's the gate inside the d...

Windshield Vent Not Blowing
Hello Delica World My Delica is a summer vehicle, therefore I don't use the windshield vent very often. The problem I am having is that I have no airflow to the windshield vents (almost zero). A couple of years ago I posted a topic for low airflow to the face vents. By accident I solved that problem...

Bug Screens for the Side Windows
I went with rare earth button magnets. They are more than strong enough to hold the mesh in place. The cheapest place to buy them from is AliExpress if you don't mind waiting a monthish for shipping. I bought a bunch of them because they were so cheap...you never know when you could use more. I got ...

Where is My Rear Lift Coming From?
Here's something interesting. I had a bit of time at work to grab the digital inclinometer and this is what I measured. 86° on the transfer case flange (4° from vertical) 78° on the pinion flange (12° from vertical) That's a difference of 8° with the shim installed !! From what I understand, both an...

Where is My Rear Lift Coming From?
Thanks again Growlerbearnz!! Definitely some interesting reading. I am planning on visiting a couple of suspension and spring shops whenever I manage to have some free time. At least now I have a better understanding of my rear suspension. Always something to tinker with to make these vans just right.

Where is My Rear Lift Coming From?
Thanks for the reply Growlerbearnz ! Yes you are right, my ride is bone charring!! Looks like I have a new mission to find stock lower leaf springs which are flat. By going that route do you think that I will still have a higher lift than stock but lower than now? Also should I leave in the wedge? I...

Classic Mini
Not quite a MINI Classic but it will keep me happy for now. I paid $1100 and put approximately $500 into her. She's a 2002, British Racing Green with a white top, which in my opinion is the only way it should be...lol.

Where is My Rear Lift Coming From?
Hello Delica Fans A recent thread about ride hide and rear leaf springs has got me thinking about my ride height again. I think my rear end is sitting too high. I don't see any extended shackles so I'm thinking it may be after market leaf springs. Because the rear end is so high I had to compensate ...

Hello from Ontario
Welcome Aboard
You've got the right man on the job looking for your Delica. I was in your neck of the woods last September poking around and looking for Crown Land camping spots. I'm hoping to do the same thing this fall.
