Re: Texada Island
Nice pictures! Been wanting to check out Texada for a long time now. Did you go to the quarry? Sounds like a really nice spot. Fingers crossed I will be moving to Powell River soon.

Re: Winter tires
Is you S2 lifted? Why would you think they might not fit on the S1? I have a S1 L400 LWB with upgraded coils in the back giving it a 1 1/2" lift in the back, front is all stock.

Re: Pajero owner in Vancouver!
Nice ride, always wanted a Pajero...but then I got a delica. Check out BC RHD 4WD on Facebook, lot of Deli and Paj guys on there. Lots of cool camper conversions the site here. Might be easier to just tow a trailer, should be able to pull quite a bit with that rig!

Re: Which model? L300 or L400
L400 all the way, the increased safety was what really sold me. Though the looks of the L300 is what drew me to the Deli's initially. Check out the different wheelbase lengths, the SWB has a better departure angle, LWB has more space and looks better IMO.

Re: L400 Skid Plate Mounted
Yea quite pleased with it. It came to 400$ and that was with help installing. If I had have done the install alone it would have been about 275$

Credit goes to tigweld4u, he was kind enough to post the plans online. On the UK forum. I got it built out of 3/16" aluminum, its quite solid. http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah246/nadair20/image.jpg3_zpsym1gxddi.jpg http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah246/nadair20/image.jpg4_zpsw8tfinvz....

Re: Introducing...
Nice ride! I've got a 94 LWB L400 Royal Exceed, we nearly have twins haha. Good call on the LWB, I can fit a queen in the back with room to spare. Looks a lot tougher IMO too. Have fun with your new ride!

Thats a SWB. You can tell by the back window, it is half the size of the middle window. The LWB rear windows are the same size as the middle window.

Re: Where is this oil coming from?
If I remember right the lower notch is for a cold tranny, the upper for hot. So yours looks fine. I think you are supposed to check level with the engine running and in neutral. Might be your head gasket leaking? Was the one picture your tranny bottom? It looked like the seal was leaking tranny flui...

Re: Fuel Additives
I mix it 200:1, so about 340ml a tank. I use a marine 2 stroke oil, prob costs me about 15$ a month. The engine is quiter and I have seen some people claiming to get better mileage. I've never tracked my mileage without the oil but right now im getting 10L/100km in an L400 LWB. Which seems to be bet...

Amazon has lots, some were quite affordable. I never got one, decided i'd either have a bike rack or be towing a trailer.
