Hey I tried to say the nicest things I could think about on the NDP and that's all I could come up with!!
I think I was being pretty generous!!

Re: 4 more years of Campbell? Really?
Chewy, I disagree with virtually everything you say, the Liberals are not the safe choice but the only choice. The NDP are simply incompetent with respect to running any kind of sensible government. They are completely beholden to special interest groups and Unions and they can never and will never ...

I'm extremely happy Lib Majority, Lib MLA in riding and no stupid STV -- all is right with the world. How anyone could ever vote for the "Big Labour" NDP is simply beyond me -- not to put too fine a point on it but they couldn't run a piss up in a brewery!!!

Re: New Delica Drivers... are you competent enough to own one?
Ben, In all honesty if ICBC was directed in the correct way there could be some reasonable rule changes. I don't see this as a RHD issue as I'm sure Delicas, Canters and Pajeros are not the problem, but rather it should be framed as a horse power issue. 18-20 year olds buying $10K Skylines and Turbo...

Re: New Delica Drivers... are you competent enough to own one?
Jesus it's not that hard to drive a RHD vehicle, it takes about five minutes to get comfortable the first time. Let's not validate foolish ICBC stats by giving credence to the fact that a RHD is somehow more complex. I'm sure most of us go back and forth between RHD and LHD every day.

I just sold mine and the reason was it was a weekend vehicle and just didn't get used all that much, this coupled with I had it for 2 1/2 years and sold it for 35% more than I bought it, what other vehicle could you do that with??? 35% appreciation over a few years. As I loved the vehicle and really...

Time to Say Goodbye - Fanny Bay Delica is ****SOLD****
Well all good things must come to an end - had the Deli for more than 2 1/2 years and sold it for a hell of a lot more than I bought it. A shame to let it go but I only used it on weekends and couldn't justify having it sit around just to go to my son's soccer games on Sat. I'll really miss it and I...

Re: Are Delica's Crap?
Ive had my Delica now for two years and this vehicle is King Kong!!!!!!! Feel free to search my posts and see how many times I've had any issues (I'll save you the trouble -- none) and this is on a 17 year old vehicle (this includes many trips around VI and around BC). If GM or Chrysler produced pro...

Re: still stranded
I gotta tell ya I wouldn't have bought the vehicle if there hadn't a good support structure available. As such I wouldn't recommend them to anyone outside of BC and to a lesser degree Alberta. Driving a Deli Winnipeg ain't the smartest move, I'd contact the dealers in BC and see what they'll take if...

Re: Guinness World Record with Delica October 1st Mile Zero
Hope this thread keeps growing and going; with regards to sustainability whatever/wherever the discussion goes. Been in a couple of deep discussion over this thread and D2S’s little trip with a partner here in Thailand. Besides being an expat with over 20 years living in Asia option, he and a close...
