Re: running lights stay on when ignition turned off

Wow, I've never driven anything new enough to have DRL's and had no idea it was a legal requirement on newer vehicles. These headlights have been the bane of my Delica experience right from the start.

Re: running lights stay on when ignition turned off

Oh just when I thought I had things under control...my damn lights stayed on again! So it's not the relay. If my DLR's were wired incorrectly why would they have worked for weeks and now work only intermittently?

Re: running lights stay on when ignition turned off

Thanks for your insight. I just removed the fuse from the relay and, voila, problem solved. I don't need no stinkin DRL's. Japanoid says the relay box I'm using, Hamsar, is so crappy they no longer stock them. Replacement cost for something decent~$75.

running lights stay on when ignition turned off

Hello All,
It has happened twice~engine off, lights turned off, running lights stayed on. Both times I had to remove the positive lead to my battery terminal. Has anybody experienced this before? Suggestions welcome.

Re: pics from lost1 in mexico

Hello lost1, I'm planning a trip to Mexico in my new not-yet-purchased Deli. I'm really wondering what my fuel costs will be. Do you recall what you spent in fuel? Did you feel very rapidly drained of your savings or did you praise yourselves for not having to spend on accommodation? Did your roof r...

Re: 91 delica, asking $8000

Hi Supercruiser,
Where do you live? I'm looking for a Delica to take to Mexico with my daughter. Definately need a solid runner. I'm in Metro Vancouver.
