Re: What shall we do about green1?
well... while the majority chose "let him stay", several of the people who gave the "stay" opinion also indicated they felt that I was overall a negative influence on the site... As such I have no choice but to conclude that the general feeling on this site is that the site would...

Re: L400 flat rear bench
When folded up the seats aren't "flat", they are instead "beyond flat" (about 20-30 degrees below the horizontal) This fix allows you to set the bench to be FLAT (or any other position you want) without doing this mod the seats have a large range from about 30 degrees above flat,...

Re: To glow or not to glow.
In about Feb of this year, it started doing: *When the engine is stone cold, glow plug circuit works completely normal *when not fully warmed up, circuit works normal, either 2 clicks a few seconds apart, or 2 clicks very close together *when fully warm, and it has sat for 5-10 minutes, no clicks a...

What shall we do about green1?
This corner of the Last Word Café is about: "What Shall We Do About Green1?" In the past few weeks I have been told that: - I don't know anything about vehicles - I don't know anything about physics - I don't know anything about electronics - I don't know anything about law Furthermore I ...

Re: Any users not happy with my moderation please speak here...
I felt it necessary to include some background. I hope everyone takes this into account as well, as I completely stand behind my actions. One set of rules for the moderators, another for everyone else. we were told specifically just the other day to keep private messages private. You chose not too....

Re: victoria to montreal and almost back again... :(
you know i could sit here and explain it to you considering in hundreds of posts you have yet to explain a single thing to anyone ever, not even once, I highly doubt you could. anyhow, you did not answer the questions about the location of the probe. why not? it makes a HUGE difference to the readi...

Re: Any users not happy with my moderation please speak here...
The nature of the PM was posted, and as there were only 2 people involved in the fight, stating that the side opposite the moderator's choice PM'd him states exactly who it was.
This is innapropriate. ESPECIALLY being that he didn't respond to the PM himself at all, only publically.

Re: victoria to montreal and almost back again... :(
So.. explain how the 2 could be unrelated then? it's only 1 engine! the heat can't be directed in to one and not the other!
oh sorry... I already know your answer to that one... same answer you use for everything "because I say so"

Re: Any users not happy with my moderation please speak here...
What's the point to going to PM when even the moderators don't have the integrity to respond to PMs without posting them in the General discussion forum? (only a couple days after it was pointed out how innappropriate it would be to post PMs in public no less!)

Re: Runaway threads or topics and the Lock-it! Stick
funny how the thread was locked in an unbiased way, and then opened just enough to put a bias on it and re-lock it.
If you are going to lock a thread then it is your obligation not to do so in a way as to present a biassed view.

Re: Any users not happy with my moderation please speak here...
it is inappropriate for a moderator to moderate a discussion they are personally involved in.
Locking a thread may be appropriate. Stating which side they favour and THEN locking the thread is abuse. (and of course crushers likes you, you supported his illegal venture)

instead of being cheap, go install one and then drive Scotts hill. of course you will see that the 2 gauges do not conicide with one another They will coincide perfectly, in fact I have done this trip in a delica equipped with a pyro, and they DO coincide... the coolant gauge doesn't move as quickl...

Re: L400 captains chairs swivel and slide
The blue ones I did without removing the rail, but twisting the seat to about a 45degree makes it easier.
The green one... well I figured it would probably come off without removing the rail, (looks like it should) but I'll admit I slid the rail off to do it.

ah yes, baseless name calling... just what I've come to expect from you.... because heaven forbid we back up any of our statements with facts or useful information... so explain to me exactly which statement I made is "ignorant" and explain how things work in your twisted version of reality.

Re: victoria to montreal and almost back again... :(
anyone that says you don't need them are risk takers or just too cheap to buy one. Of course one of the people on record saying you don't need one is CCAutos... one of the very well respected Delica mechanics of this site... so take that for what it's worth. Obviously Mitsubishi Engineers also didn...
