When I picked up the unit at dock one of two batteries was no good, longshoremen probably tried jump starting and may( just may) have crossed up....trying to find someone to read the fault codes on pre OBD II ... All fuses in interior panel are ok, finding a Transmission ECU for this particular Paj ...

thanks guys, so far what I have found from google from Aus forums is to ground out the OD sensor or replace it (ideally), I did have to replace the 100 amp alternator fusible link when I picked up the Paj at the dock, all other fuses at a glance seem to be ok but will take a more through look to mak...

Have a newly imported !994 Paj swb with the 2.8 auto, really nice unit but problem with the transmission not shifting. From standing start it wants to be in 3rd gear but I can shift thru gears manually starting in 1st. Does not go into od at all and using the od switch on shift lever there is no rea...

Know this thread is a couple years old but have some questions re alternator removal....Did you remove oil filter to get at the alternator... Did you disconnect the vac pump before or after removing the alternator .... spent a few hours on this yesterday and have to admit, I did curse a little

Hi guys, sorry for delay in replies, too many projects,not enough time.....just finished putting my 88 Dodge Raider(re badged Mit Montero) back together, looks good even if I say so myself...rebuilt Mit 2.6, auto, new ACC carpet, now with 31 tires.....will post pics asap....the Paj is waiting patien...

Thanks for the reply Phil, I am not having any problem with the trans shift selector and will check the brake lines to see if there is any stress on them, the right side cv boot(inner) is torn, don't know if the lift or just general use caused the tear... Just got a new to me 91 Lwb 2.5 auto to replace my departed 95 and another 91... This new 91 has a 3 inch body lift and there is a problem with getting the drive selector to stay in 2 wheel HI, my first thought is that the body lift has caused a problem with the shift lever, could it be that because...
