Re: Hi everyone, from Qualicum Beach, BC

Well it's finally done!! A sparkly white '96 L400 joins our family (now our Outlander has a sibling). Would like to post pics, but can't quite seem to figure out how. Can't wait to get home in Oct. so I get to see it! After 1 day my wife is already a convert. She bought it, got it home, (what a troo...

Re: Hi everyone, from Qualicum Beach, BC

@Jason - Thanks for the info. Turns out I'll be flying in the Strathmore area June-Oct and probably not out to MB. (it was Minnedosa/Neepawa/Carberry) area, not that far from you (I think that was one of Barry Forman's ads, wasn't it?) If you've been in Dauphin for a while, I'm sure you're familiar ...

Re: spacegear in the works!

I'm still test-driving. Went for a scoot in a LWB 3.0 gasser the other day. It does go! Word on the street is that one should expect the mileage to be similar to the l400 diesel... I'm still leaning toward diesel, though, even though parts for the 3.0 are apparently readily available in Canada. My r...

Re: Hi everyone, from Qualicum Beach, BC

True enough, all vehicles have issues at some point (just spent nearly $1300 getting the rear brakes done on my '07 Outlander (145,000 km), but I'd rather be sure that the possibility of problems is diminished as much as possible. I'll be either somewhere in AB, or in smalltown MB for about 4 months...

Re: Hi everyone, from Qualicum Beach, BC

Unfortunately, potential mechanical issues and the fact that my vehicle will be far far away from anyone who knows anything about Delica repair for at least 4 months this summer, means that I'm still shopping.

Re: Hi everyone, from Qualicum Beach, BC

I lived about a mile behind Coombs last year, and used to drive by that shop every day. I hear that they are the 'goto' shop for these vehicles, so feel pretty secure about service. Thanks for your input.

Hi everyone, from Qualicum Beach, BC

What a great, positive site! I'm hoping that, pursuant to my son conducting a test drive tomorrow, I will be plunking down my deposit on a 94 L400 immediately thereafter. (Can't do the test drive myself - I'm about 100 km north of hell working in AB). My poor wife had her Outlander in the shop for b...
