Re: L300 Hazzard and Fog Light fuses keep blowing.
on my P35W (1996) there's a 20amp fuse on the bottom row of the box, it's the last one on the right. I checked and it seems to only control the fog lights, my headlights still work with it blown. I find it odd that they both blow simultaneously each time. Its still raining here in sunny New Zealand ...

Re: L300 Hazzard and Fog Light fuses keep blowing.
the first time it's hard to tell. It was raining when I noticed them no longer working, but how long they'd been broken I couldn't tell you. Likely yes though. Thinking about it, the fog lights and their connectors have seen much better days... the fog lights are rusted out, maybe water is getting i...

L300 Hazzard and Fog Light fuses keep blowing.
I just went to replace them two weeks ago. Everything was working until last night when driving in the rain and the fog lights cut out. I went to check the hazzard lights and they don't work either. I'll be checking the fuses tonight but I suspect they are blown again (which is exactly what happened...

Re: Turtle L300 kitchen / camping / sleeping cabinets
Cool beans. Just looked up Ecofoam and there's a manufacturer here in New Zealand! Sweet. Looks like it might help my insulation issues as well if i do the side panels. Did you have a look at bitufoam as well? Would it be worth going down that road or is ecofoam a safer bet because of less chemicals.

Hiya. Love the conversion, it's given me a lot to think about with my deli.
Quick question: how much dynamat did you end up using? And did you do the engine cover / driving compartment as well?
I'm looking to reduce road noise in the Battle Bus a bit and this looks like the way to go forward.

Re: problems backing up in 2wd on hills.
I'll give it another go tonight as I'll likely be back at the same beach. I'll get a mate to take a look at the back wheels, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the wheels were slipping at least a little bit, I've taken all the seats out of the back and the back bullbar and the like. Probably wouldn't...

Re: problems backing up in 2wd on hills.
wow that's some great info! However, it also looks rather daunting and there's a bunch of transmission shops around, so I think i'll take it to a pro. I'm happy to do *some* of the work on this truck, but there's a very specific limit to my skills.
Cheers for that!

Re: problems backing up in 2wd on hills.
So in order: No full time 4x4. I do need to change the auto fluid at some point, once it gets back from they body shop (I'm getting the van repainted :) ) I'm just putting it in 4H to get it going. The hill in question was pretty steep, and the van had no "run up" area. When there's a bit ...

problems backing up in 2wd on hills.
Hiya, first time poster, a Canadian who moved to New Zealand and bought a delica there :) I've started noticing that my deli doesn't like backing up hills in 2WD. It'll go a little, but then it feels like it pops out of gear and ends up in neutral. If I switch to 4WD and back up there's no problems....
