Constant email from Delica Trader
Hey folks, don't know if anyone else is having this issue. I've unsubscribed from the notification list on Delicas for sale approximately 19 bazillion times now, and I keep getting email notifications that another Deli has been listed. Please...someone...go in and remove my email from whatever list ...

Deeply discounted parts vehicle
Ninja Edit: The van sold today. It was great while it lasted. Going to miss the ol' boy. Hey folks, just wanted to quickly pop in and let you know that I've dropped the price on my Deli a great deal. Link to Delica Trader ad The head is shot, once that's fixed though, it was a great vehicle. Parts ...

Re: Strutwise Lift Support Services
Frank did the struts on my L300, and I wish I could give as glowing a review as you did. When they first came back (I live in Nanaimo, so there was shipping involved), the one strut had the wrong mount on it. No problem...mistakes happen. Sent it back and had Frank fix it. Once both struts were inst...

Re: "new" or "used"
Trust me when I tell you to go through a reputable dealer. I bought my L300 from a private seller, got stuck with a ride that needed a lot of love. I didn't know what to look for, and had to replace the headlights because they were still the original Japanese ones. When I took the passenger seat out...

Re: Bad diesel?
When my Deli started belching clouds of white smoke, it was just seconds after that I noticed it smelled like antifreeze and found out that the head cracked.

Re: Where and why?
I hate to say it, but I found I got better mileage with Chevron than with Superstore. Smoked a little less too.

Re: stolen van found in scrapyard...
I have a friend in the auto recycling biz. Usually, these folks will buy written-off vehicles from ICBC, so chances are ICBC recovered the vehicle and wrote it off, then this scrapper picked it up for a song from an ICBC auction. They'll auction off written-off vehicles all the time. Scrappers pick ...

Great to see another Nanaimo-ite here! I'm in the South end, pretty much Cedar.

Re: WVO conversion & filtration
I've been trepidatious about converting when I get the new Deli. Glen at CCAutos told me that what I'll save in fuel costs, I'll spend on buying new fuel pumps after the veg oil eats the seals. Anyone with any experience with this? When last I spoke to Glen, he wouldn't even think about doing conver...

Congrats man! You'll enjoy the hell out of it.
My L300 broke down and I've been pining for it like a parrot pines for the fjords. You won't want to drive anything else!

Re: another noob question - tipping/rolling
I used my L300 as a courier vehicle when I was with Ace Courier. I was incredibly surprised at the speeds that Boba would take corners and it still seemed like he was on rails.
Admittedly, I wouldn't do slalom races in it...but the tippy look is deceptive.

You have to bear in mind Diver, that these published scientists are published for a reason. Junk science, like climate change denial, is published in little dark corners on the internet, in many of the same places that publish information on our lizard overlords, alien abduction, and penis enlargeme...

Re: Monsanto, Chemtrails & our future. Must see. No kidding.
Back to the topic at hand then. I'm not trying to be an asshole, but here is definitive proof to debunk "chemtrails". First, you have to ask the questions "who" and "why". Who's causing these "chemtrails", and why would they bother? Is it Air Canada in a last-...

If you had it to do over again, what would you do different?
I was going to put "differently", but I ran out of characters. So, what would you have done differently? Would you have bought a 300 or a 400? Gas or diesel? Crystal light roof? When I bought Boba, I bought him privately through a fellow on the mainland. I looked it over, but not knowing w...
