The 9 v battery was to test the bulb polarity preference inside in the warm with a beer in hand and after that it kind of goes without saying which is positive and negative on the van. However your answer is also right if you ...

Re: L300 LED bulbs?

Yeah my Pajero was fine for all non error free except the side markers. For some reason they were backwards. Not sure why.

Re: L300 LED bulbs?

The polarity is backwards. You should have bought error free bulbs. You will need to switch the 12vdc with the ground for these to work. I recommend getting a different bulb. Cree plus smd are mucho better and error free but that's just me. The basic smd bulbs are not that bright. You can test this ...

Re: L300 automatic slow shifting, kick down cable?

Yes. I adjusted the cable and it was much better. You just park it and shift it into N. Then go under located the adjusting nut and loosen it off. Then pull the cable tight and cinch down the nut again. Once done check that the engine wont start in anything but P and N. Then go for a drive.

The sensors are easy to get at and just require removing two bolts. They are on the inside of the front wheel. Carefully remove them and clean the sensor...
