Re: Front caliper part #

I am having this same problem, although the caliper is not completely seized yet...

What about bleeding the hydraulic system following replacement? Did you do that right away? Did you do it yourself?

Turbo swap??

Hey team I have had a leaky turbo on my L300 since I purchased it in 2010. I have found a non-leaky turbo at a local mechanic from a parts Delica I would like to swap these turbos, but I am unsure about the difficulty of doing this. I have done some work on my van (oil changes, alternator r&r, e...

Re: Best way to remove alternator?

Big thanks for these detailed instructions!

I have been a bit absent on the forum for a while, but it sure is nice that I can come search around and find the information I need.

Pulled my alternator this morning with the help of these pointers, and dropped it off to get rebuilt

Cheers

Re: Out of Province Inspection and need to vent

Thanks everyone for your feedback Just completed everything and got my shiny new BC license plates today!! The Ford dealership of all places inspected my van, no questions asked. They also adjusted one of the wheel bearings. I took my van to Castlegar muffler and they bent the pipe themselves so I h...

Re: Fuel Additives

I like to use a Cetane boosting additive, to give me a little extra oomp when I am roadtripping.

Curious about the 2-stroke oil - how much do you add to a tank?

Re: Out of Province Inspection and need to vent

Well I was able to get the local Ford dealership to do the inspection, they did so without question and were happy to do it. Was surprised given every other place in Nelson refused me. The next thing though is to get some parts and work done - need a new windshield and the exhaust done, so if anyone...

Out of Province Inspection and need to vent

So we recently moved from Calgary to Nelson BC I need to register my 93 Starwagon with BC and ICBC, so I need an out of province inspection done. Thing is, no mechanic in Nelson will look at my van. Straight up, flat out "Nope, won't work on that van" I called everyone, and finally talked ...

Nelson Delica Owners

Hi Everyone, Been a while since I've been on here. Hope all is well. I moved from Calgary to Nelson in October, and I have seen a great many Delicas here! Is this area Delica breeding grounds or something? Just curious if there are any Nelson/West Kootenay Delica owners on this forum. Also curious w...

Looks like this thread has been hijacked

Tyrant, if you want more response to your questions, start your own thread (topic) with your van issues, in the correct forum category, instead of asking a question on someone else's introduction thread

Not to rustle any jimmies, but Delica comes from the contraction of english 'DELIvery CAr', as per the Mitsubishi Motors Company

Re: Boler joins the family, and your opinion on hitch placem

Thanks for the comments. It should be fine with the 6 feet on that rack. Mine has 4 large feet and I put 3 fully loaded jerry cans up there with no problem and currently have a spare on the roof. My front racks, which had smaller feet, bent my gutters a bit though, so I'm going to weld some wider fe...

Re: Roof rack

Yes, my steel bolts rusted right away, but otherwise the rack itself is still alright. I'm not overly concerned, it's a rack and it is going to get abused and eventually rust. I've had it for a couple years now, seems to be holding together just fine.
