Where to get bushings? L300

Ebay sells a lot of delica bushings. The ones supplied by Febest (Chinese but w a plant in Florida) have worked out well for me. I've replaced all but 2 bushings on my L400. I've done all but the rear trailing arm on one side just cuz of lack of time. It's a big job replacing some of the front drive...

Looking for power window switch

wait till the weather dries out a little and it may work again. The window switches are notorious for stopping in the damp.

L400 suspension lift - if you have it, make sure it's good

Just lost my entire post. I took too long and had to log in again. Soooo lets try again. #$@^ I have HD front torsion bars, HD rear coils,2" BJ spacers, air bags etc. All delis have spring sag so have compensated with reindexing the bars and raising the rear as well. I tried aluminum coil spacers as...

Paint falling inside headlights!

Will those headlights be DOT approved??
If they can't aim to the right them they will blind oncoming drivers and make you subject to mucho problems, not to mention giving the rest of us a bad name. See potential insurance problems and conflicts with the law.

Rear hatch interior light sensor

Led lights in the same bulb shape are available out of China. Make 100% sure to order the correct metric length, I had to reorder after the company sent the wrong length. While you have the tailgate apart.... run a cable across from the opening mechanism to the passenger side inspection flap with a ...

6 inch tailgate lift

yes you need longer bolts otherwise they will strip out. The tailgate is a heavy piece and there's lots of strain on the shock. Another option I found worked well is to cut a spacer piece (old plastic cutting board) and insert it on the top of the shock bracket. Yup, you guesses it, longer bolts!!! ...

just bought 2002 L400 anniversary edition!

Congratulations on your new deli. Is the mid seating still a 2/3 person bench seat? I'm hoping mitsu goes back to captains chairs mid ship soon. Nice to see how little the delis have changed, assuming this is still a series 2?? I've just passed 100K kms on my 99 gasser so I'll be keeping it for a wh...

L400 2" Lift kit - $400 - Made in Duncan

IMHO a 1 1/2" lift kit should be a maximum lift while keeping caster and camber within specs and lessening ball joint and tie rod replacements. Not to mention tire wear being worse with a 2" lift. Unless you're prepared to alter your spindle angle lift with just tires and an 1 1/2 lift kit. The extr...

Random electrical failures - power windows, door, side step

it is very likely a corrosion problem at a connection. Delis are plagued by these. After 12+ years of delis I say "wait till spring and the problem will go away." That's especially true on the "wet coast."
