Re: 1994 L400 Spacegear solid BLACK 3" lift with many upgrades

Sweet wheels! Good thing my keyboard is spill-proof because it got all drools over on it.

Good luck with sale, and the new owner will be the luckiest one.

Re: Wheels and lift on L400

Perfect thanks, I did the math and the ideal backspacing for 16x7 rim would be between 4.125 to 4.5 if comes with tire size 265-245/75R16. Sounds right? What driving behaviour and risk would I expect if I decrease backspacing to put tire wall closer to side door slider? 2.625 instead of 4.125 for 26...

Wheels and lift on L400

What is L400's stock wheel backspacing?

Will LT245/75/16R fits L400 without any lift, if not then how high do I need to lift?

Thanks,

Re: Manual hub for L400 with Super Select?

without getting out of van to unlock hub? Sorry I was very vague about that part, what I mean is "fool" free wheeling clutch thinking that transfer case is on 2H but actually it is on 4LLC meaning you will have low gear RWD without manual hub. Will that work? or I might have wrong concept...

Re: BLACK L400 LOW ROOF PARTING OUT

do you have dash light dimmer switch? Mine just came off today and found that clip was broken, also "click" seems nonfunctional since I bough the van. I think it supposed turns dome lights on.

Was cup slider already sold with center console?

Re: Manual hub for L400 with Super Select?

Will it possible to manipulate switch sensor to keep freewheeling clutch (lays beside front differential) unlocked when you shift to 4WD(H/HLC/LLC) without getting out of van to unlock hub?

Re: Whipsaw 4x4 wknd overnight - wknd of Sept 10-12

I intend to go back to the Whipsaw and explore the last 30 kms more thoroughly this time. Is it the last 30 km from Wells Lake to Lodestone Lake on way to Coalmont? I like to share it first if you haven't been there. There were few spots that seems impassible for my stock L400 there without taxing ...

Re: Having a custom trailer hitch made...

Yeah 50 wont cover everything, just supplies and luck. I bought incomplete class 3 hitch kit (bolts and some parts are missing) from princess auto for 40 dollars and a metal plate. I used friend's plasma CNC to cut plates to make parts then assembled a hitch with hitch kit from princess auto. Now it...

Re: Having a custom trailer hitch made...

I had my hitch custom made on my L400 for 50 bucks and uses class III for same reason as yours but I kept rule of thumb for any car; pull no more than 3/4 of vehicle's weight that I have not tried and no more than 1/10th weight on the hitch which I already used for rear rack to keep height under max...

On left side theres an ATV trail, thats where we started from there. Theres a steep climb on left shortly after entered ATV trail, once I get on top theres a...
