Re: L400 Options?
G'day.. It is almost impossible to generalise with the options on L400 because MMC in Japan is happy to give what ever you want as an option. The best way to go is to get a Super Exceed if you can because they have most of the worthwhile options and all the chrome bits. Delicas are very cheap at the...

Re: Found something slower than my Delica!
8-) Now your talking.... That's a real 4x4... Watch out for low flying planes. :-D :-D The reduction hubs on the axles are what reduces your top speed BUT they give incredible ground clearance and fantastic off road ability.. A bit of engine moding should get it to cruise at 100 kph. Cheers and enjo...

Re: legality of rear facing seats
Hi.. I am not sure how things work there but here, because the Delica is a grey import and has not passed Aust safety tests for the seats when in the rear facing position, the rear facing seat belts have to be removed when they are complied. So there for in Australia you are not allowed to travel fa...

Depending on the width to be filled after these are installed. It may be possible to run a string of LEDs along to fill the gap. Get that AUDI look. 8-) ...You can buy 12 volt LED strings about 12" long. Some of the guys in one of the WRX clubs I belong to heat their lights in the oven to open ...

L400 fuse box translation
G'day. These are the translations. One of our members makes stickers in real life size to stick on the fuse boxes if anyone is interested. He also does the Mitsubishi stickers for the front as well as the Delica stickers for the back , plus any other sticker you want. Just tell him size, style color...

Re: max tire size
G'day.. I just put up a thread showing how(with photos) to modify front guards to fit Pajero mags and up to 265s as long as they are not big chunky mud tyres. Preferably 255s which are an inch or so wider and 2 inches higher. Keep in mind I will never have to fit snow chains so that is not taken int...

Modifying front guard to fit bigger tyres without Lift..
G'day.. If you want to put on bigger tyres you will need bigger wheels. 7" Pajero mags are the easiest option as they have a good offset and enable you to go to 255 or even 265 as long as you don't go for very aggressive tread patterns. Here are a few photos of what is needed to achieve this . ...

Re: max tire size
The standard L400 alloy is 6.5 inch and from the factory has 225/80x15 Bridgestone Duelers. That is not a common size here so they are complied with 235/75r15 which is slightly wider and about the same height depending on the brand and tread pattern. Some 235s a bigger than other 235s which makes it...

G'day. The Oz site has NO POSTINGS on "for sale" section except for the seller. Any questions are done via pm. There is no discussion possible. It stops adds getting off topic. We used to have "for sale" posts that would get to 12 pages long because people would go on and on abou...
