Re: Quebec RHD Ban
wouldn't the people that have vans have a right to sue because the ban will make it much harder to sell their vans at some point? You only have legal standing if you have already been denied registration (until they deny you registration they haven't done anything illegal) But Quebec is also a litt...

Re: Quebec RHD Ban
You have to look at it this way. The people who have the RHD currently in Qubec have an aquired right to operate it, so why would the sue? I do not currently own one and the idea of owning one crossed my mind 3 weeks ago, I get in forums, I notice the ban in Qc, so be it, nothing I can do for now so...

Re: Furnace fuel in your delica?
In QC, the Road Police is different than our provincial or local enforcement. They basically stop merchandise, commercial or U-Haul type of vehicles. As I mentionned earlier in a post, my dad has run his suburban for 20 years on House-diesel, never came close to being stopped Could be luck, bu highw...

Re: Quebec RHD Ban
Hi Green1, of course I did not want to start pointing fingers within the RHD community, I'm actually trying to get in it but can't because of the ban in Quebec. I do think though that like in ANY research, you have to compare apples with apples and including a skyline driver with 250 horse power eng...

Re: Quebec RHD Ban
I read the whole thing this morning and I had been inquiring with the Quebec SAAQ on the RHD, the engineer refered me to the link to the 16 page research (interesting in a way) and slammed the 40% reason even before I asked for it. Now, one HUGE detail with the whole RHD being unsafe in Quebec or an...

Re: Furnace fuel in your delica?
I live in Quebec, my dad has had a Suburban, 6.2 Diesel for decades and he has run on his house fuel for ever. That fuel delivered to your house burns a little cleaner than diesel at the car pump, it's pinkish in color and will create a bluish smoke at your tail pipe. Other than that, as far as I kn...

The QUEBEC BAN!!! Written LAW - Interpretation...
OK, here it is. taken from the site of the SAAQ. (Quebec Transportation) If anyone can interpret this? If I understand correctly, my chances of owning and driving a Delica in Quebec are shot! The 180 days after April 29th '09 is what is throwing me off... Vehicles with Right-Hand Drive Right-hand dr...

Re: Hello and Advice, opinion, Delica Reliability
Well guys, these answers are great and thorough! To answer one question about my location, I'm 30 minutes away from the ontario/quebec border. I'll go the car commission and inquire about imports from Japan before making a move of course. If you guys are curious, the 2 closest trucks (I see them as ...

Hello and Advice, opinion, Delica Reliability
:-) Hi everyone, I'm looking get my hands on a Delica, in the years 90 to 95 range. My main question and concern is the reliability of this vehicle. I looked in the site but could not find any specific forum on the topic. So, what can be said about the Delica's reliability? Are there "lemon yea...
