Lc= locked center diff= part time 4x4. No dry pavement.
4h = all wheel drive unlocked center diff. Viscous coupling.
Check the L 400 pdf on this site.

Easy check. Look at your old horns. If they are mounted onto the stand with a rubber grommet, they had power all the time, if mounted steel on steel than power was sent to it. Have fun! Always something sneaky on these!

On my mini truck the horn had power all the time, you complete the circuit to ground when you hit the horn on the steering wheel. that could be your problem. Try isolating the horn ( do not solid mount ) and turn power on again. I had to rubber mount a NA suburban horn to get it to work right. Did t...

The Safari is an exelent rig for winter driving. Have had zero issues with cold starts or parts.
There are parts dealers in Canada that can help you with this.
They are noted on having a weak auto trany . If you can find one with a turbo 4.2 get it!
