'94 Delica Spacegear rear bench seat

Cancel this notice; I'm keeping it as it makes a great little chaise lounge for our deck!

Central locking issue...

Well, I'm not sure how to explain this but my central locking is fine again and I did nothing. I think possibly the fact that van had sat previously for some time and battery grew weak might be a factor. Since taking it on few highway runs down to Washington it's all back to normal so the battery ma...

Central locking issue...

Thanks Davidor. When I get around to checking it out I may decide to finally upgrade the speakers too!
Cheers!

Central locking issue...

Thanks for the reply Davidor! I don't know if it's 100% accurate but your +/- interpretation makes sense to me. If so, it seems to me there should be something within the passenger door mechanism itself that's identifiable and repairable too, hopefully. The prospect of opening up that can of worms i...

Central locking issue...

I need to amend this... earlier observations were incorrect. Only the passenge fron door is acting up and only as gfar as locking. It will open with remote or withe ignition key on driver's side door, usually, but will not lock with remote or with central locking via key. So I'm guessing there's a s...

M440 Dash vent jammed closed...

Can someone help me find directions for driver console/dash removal? I'm sure there's something in the archives but 45 minutes of searching, although interesting, got me nowhere. The air vent directly to left of tach has jammed closed; the rotary open/close thingamajigger isn't open/closing. Not sur...

Central locking issue...

Hi folks. My '94 L400 has about 117 K now and is running fine... except the central locking is no longer working for front doors. Works normally on other doors but not front. So it seems the solenoids or whatever makes the motion, are kaput. As both left & right are affected it seems to me there...

Amsoil Dual Bypass oil system for L400

Hi 204. Sorry for the delayed reply - I check for PMs but don't check actual posts often enough. I don't follow an exact protocol with oil changes - usually change much more often than necessary; around 8 - 10 K just out of habit but you're correct. Amsoil says you can go way farther than that betwe...

Re: Wheel alignment shop lower mainland??

Not sure about alignment computer; I may have misunderstood what Butch said back then but at any rate, I went to Dale's on 56th ave in Langley. They've apparently done plenty of Delicas and had no trouble sorting mine out. It was getting pretty tiresome but my van no longer tries to pull me into onc...

Re: Wheel alignment shop lower mainland??

Thanks DS but Butch told me he couldn't do a precise job of it without certain equipment which he doesn't have. Kal Tire on King George couldn't do it either. There must be a place somewhere around here that can do it. Surely I'm not the only one who's ever wanted a front end alignment on an L400.....

Carl, I assume you're driving 4WD L400. What were those specs you gave them?

Re: Wheel alignment shop lower mainland??

Thanks guys. I'll double check with Butch but as far as I recall, when he installed my Pro Comp shocks a few years ago he was only able to do an approximate set up. I'll check (could just be early onset dementia  ) and post here. I somehow ended up with the understanding that because of the D...

Wheel alignment shop lower mainland??

I recall some years ago somebody posted about a good alignment shop in Langley that was familiar with Delica. My '94 L400 could use a front end alignment -- I would appreciate recommendations.
Thanks!
