Re: Front Sway bar links
Ok, I am now all set. Did a bit of painting to protect all this from rust and I could do a test ride. It is a little firmer and I like it very much. These shocks are a very good option without lift (200 euros in Europe for a pair).

Re: Front Sway bar links
Hi all, I found an easy solution myself without putting back the wheel on. I used a second lift to push the lower arm up so that I could have some thread to get the link done. Fairly easy after all (putting it out was another story ... I had to use a metal saw). photo5875114613949969677.jpg I still ...

Re: Back from a 6 weeks kitesurf & surf trip in South Portugal
The L300 is still well alive, needed a new turbo this winter but it still drives us around until I'll finish the new camper for the bigger truck. This is our summer setting for 5 in Portugal last summer: Portugal-L300.jpeg This is really a great car. We did some very soft sand and it worked great wi...

Front Sway bar links
Hi all, While doing the front shocks (replaced my OME that I could not find anymore by Kony Heavy-Track), I thought I'll do my sway bar link at the same time, bushings were near the end. The L300 is on jacks on one side (without wheel) and I struggle a bit aligning the low arm and the sway bar holes...

How to dismantle sliding windows?
OK, done. It worked fine. Next, I have to remove the tinting film on the windows -- looks like it would take some time as it is quite old.
Thx again.

How to dismantle sliding windows?
Ok cool! Many thanks! It seems that the trick is to pull up the frame to get the glasses out. Didn't think about this one!!! :-) I'll get back here if I am stuck. A picture for your great help (remember when you were at primary school 8-) ), somewhere in Portugal this summer: Somewhere-in-Portugal.j...

Another Tire choice to make!
I have a set of Hankook RF10 on my L300 Long version (imported from Holland) to France. I don't like them so much but there are nearly impossible to wear :-) My next set of tires that could accomodate some snow but still all weather will be the Nokian Rotiva AT in 235/75 R15. We tried them on a heav...

How to dismantle sliding windows?
Hi all, I found a Hyundai H100 sliding door here in France and it has a sliding window (I have fixed glass window). The windows look like the one from the Mitsu. They need some work to look clean again but I struggle on how to approach the restoration ... :-) How to get the two glasses out? Just rem...

Re: Door locked - no key!
I opened it I'll tell people who want to know how by PM (no need to do public advertisement for these sorts of things). Tomorrow, I'll change door locks.

Door locked - no key!
Hi All, I have two set of keys for my European L300 : one for starting the car and one to open the driver door (I don't have a key for the other doors :) ). Unfortunately, I lost the key to open the door (when I went back from surfing) and now the car is in my garden with all my gear in and I cannot...

Re: Hitop Delica Build Photos
You could also just put the short roof on and leave a little room at the back for a small cargo area outside (this would be so simple....this option you and a few friends could fit it in a weekend). probably enough room for 6 gas cans at the back before the hatch. Thanks for your prompt answer and ...

Re: Hitop Delica Build Photos
Hi thedjjack, We also would like to add a Hitop on our delica so that our kids can sleep in the roof and it will be warmer for cold days. I have a L300 but long version and I found an old L300 non 4X4 with a hitop but a short version. My plan is to take the roof from L300, find someone to extand it ...

Re: Delica Camper modifications
I get your point but the trade-off was very simple for me: LWB gives us 5 seats (4 in fact with the fridge and sink on the side) + permanent L bed in the back. That's perfect for a family camper van.

Re: Delica Camper modifications
I really wish we had those over here! Definitely every inch counts for sleeping space. I'm not sure that I'd buy one to do much off-roading in though. It performs very well off-road. I purchased it in particular for this: 4x4 camper van very capable off-road (but that can be driven downtown if need...
