Locate the Recreation Site

I had to include this site even though it is quite a distance from southern BC. It is located about 150 km north of Dease Lake or about 115 km south of Watson Lake, Yukon. Anyone that has been to Boya lake knows why. It has to be one of the most interesting lakes in BC. Boya Lake has a provincial pa...

Locate the Recreation Site

Chute lake is a small lake located northeast of Penticton via Naramata. The rec. site is quite small. Some of the sites are bunched together while others are very private. The boat launch is suitable for car tops or trailered boats. I didn't camp or fish but I've been told the fishing can be good fo...

Looking to meet an L300 owner close to the okanagan.

Good Morning: I'm in Kamloops which is fairly close and I do go to Rodgers in Armstrong every few months to get my granola ingredients. The day and time don't matter to me. My van although a 91 has the 12 V glow plugs and I also have manual control. I can have lots of smoke if I don't keep the butto...

Locate the Recreation Site

I've been off exploring in the NWT for the last few weeks without the Delica and finally saw an L300 which appears to be almost the same as mine in Yellowknife. ( A member perhaps? ) I even caught a 20" Jack fish on a fly rod today!! Anyway I have a short site description for some traveling I did th...

Locate the Recreation Site

June camping this year was an exercise in frustration. Once dates were selected things would change and inevitably the weather would go from great to crap before you could go. I was @ Needa lake just off Hwy. 24 in late May which turned out well. ( after I couldn't get in to Crystal Lake on a Tuesda...

Manual Hub

I guess rising Sun's price of $300 per unit isn't that bad if you really want genuine as they are in Vancouver!

Manual Hub

I'm looking for 1 manual hub like the picture I borrowed from CCA. Mine has a broken spring and we can't seem to find anything similar in the box of old hubs. I've checked with CCA and Kelly says they can't get them anymore. Any help finding a new or used one would be appreciated. ( RSI has a set of...

Locate the Recreation Site

My contribution this month is Kingdom Lake south of Goldbridge. This a very pretty lake and at an elevation of over 4250 feet will be cool most of the year. A fairly new recreation site has been built with 15 campsites on or near the lake. A fairly good boat launch is also available. I have not fish...

What did you do TO your Delica today?

If that is the stuff on the roll? It works great but the smell just about made me sick. I finally took it back and they gave me my money back even though it had a few pieces cut out of it. Hopefully you won't have the same issue. :-(

Locate the Recreation Site

This month is another lake I haven't been to for some time. It's not far away, east of Barrier about 45 km. Johnson lake has been called the Caribbean of the north – which is why I haven't been there for a few years. A few years ago some travel writer did a You Tube of the lake and ever since it has...

Some advice before a major decsion

This is where I got my new engine. Ben is in a bit of transition right now so I'm not sure if he is still selling them. Great engine so far. He has had some owners with over 100,000 km and he only problem is the turbo may leak oil from the intake if you don't use a catch can. https://comoxvalleydeli...
