Re: Type of coolants

Disclaimer: I have an L400, not sure if the L300 requires something specific. That being said, I was recommended to use Prestone Command HD Coolant by CCAutos in my van when I swapped it out about 20k km ago. I mixed it 50/50 with distilled water, and although in my area you can use regular tap wate...

Payments monthly for insurance. looking for better rate

Hey Nick.
Where are you located? That will change a lot of the rates.

Right now I'm paying 1700 a year or 141 a month with ICBC.

Should I buy this L400?

Checked the frame for rust yet? Common spots are the frame below the batteries, as well as above the rear bump stops.

If you still really want it get her checked out by a good mechanic in your area.

Black L400 Christmas day, Banff East Gate

Damn, another rotten egg in the community.... ☹️ Glad the driver didn't strike you though!
Just the other day I watched an L400 cut off multiple people on the drive down island, then race through a gas station to beat the traffic. I can only assume the turkey was in the oven and on fire. :?

What did you own before your Delica?

Call me crazy all you want, but 2 years ago I has a brand new off the lot 2017 Offroad Tacoma. During that year I did a LOT of road trips, I think I put somewhere around 70,000km on it. The plan was to drive it till it died... But then I found I wanted a van more, and something I could work on mysel...

Is there any chance of a salvage title on her? Or is she to far gone?

Delica L400 (Space Gear) trim levels?

Hey Jbourne First off welcome to the confusing world of delicas! I had a Russian site at one point that had all the trim levels and there options, I'll try and find it again this weekend if I have time. I know there's a few different trim levels out there, I believe from base model to highest it goe...

Keyless entry

That's what I'm thinking. Since I don't have a fob I could test the instructions I found here: https://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/58-8g-1999-2003-galant/3450-keyless-entry-transmitter-program-steps-folks.html?amp=1 It's just a matter of figuring out what pins our Vans use, since they won't be the sam...

L400 suspension lift - if you have it, make sure it's good

Alright so here's something that I haven't found discussed anywhere, and I feel like digging up this old thread if the right place for it. I recently installed overload springs on the rear of my L40., I did the brake booster adjustment and sway bar drops for the 1.5" of lift it gave me. Last we...

Keyless entry

I looked into this a while back for my 94 L400, and found some stuff on reprogramming the van to work with a new key, but couldn't find what bandwidth the system operates on. I'll see if I can find the website about programming I found earlier...

what did you do WITH your delica today

A couple weeks back I drove Cece from Victoria to Golden for the Alpine Club of Canada's General Mountaineering Camp. It was a lovely week spent in the mountains, and I learned a ton! The following weekend I drove back out and had an unexpected stop in Salmon Arm to have my appendix removed before i...
