Hyundai D4BF engine install
Growler,
I've read of the Hyundai 456d engine here and on other forums. I recall seeing some specs but would like to hear from the most recent install.Other than being brand new does it offer more HP/Torque(via updates) than the original found in our l300's?
Regards,
Cap

Hyundai D4BF engine install
Growler, The pic of that engine makes me drool. Kinda like the good feeling I get when I catch a whif of motorcycle exhaust. Good for you! Can't wait to see it installed. On a related note I was wondering if you considered the new Cummins diesel crate engine (r.2 4cylinder) that I have been hearing ...

Java,
I did not forget. I took pics on my phone but they are too big to upload. I can't figure out how to downsize them for this forum.

Ha!
I had a conversation with him about my delica last year when I was shopping for some cupholders. I ended up using a couple of the 80 series holders. They fit great. In fact I'm not sure I need a customized one now. I'll post a pic of my set up tmrw.

Another option that I have used before I got the 3d printed cupholders was a Land Rover discovery unit. The grey/black combo matches the grey interior of the deli's. They have removable inserts so they can fit many different sized cups. They can be found on eBay. From model years 1998 to 2004 I beli...

Phil, Now that I've finished digressing about double din radios I will add my source for cupholders. Check out BH3d.com. The gent there makes printed cup holders for land Cruisers and 4runners. Currently I have two 80 series versions mounted up front in my deli. They are a great match for the grey i...

Phil, Check IH8MUD.com (land cruiser forum). Go to the FZJ 80 section and type in double din drink holder. You will find info & pics there for a double din drink holder. Cup holders are a big deal for the 80 series as they have none .I believe the issue is that ultimatly your drinks will block a...
